Mitras employ 20 factory staff and 6 admin staff, contract workers are employed during peak periods.

Mitras has seven highly successful brands well established in the South African Market place, these brands have been put together to suit the South African markets and are based on African fauna and Flora.

The brands are manufactured using top quality ingredients and stunning packaging.

We manufacture a full range of guest supplies to suit a range of guest establishment. We have off the shelf ranges, products which include Shampoos, Conditioners, Vanity Kits, and Handmade soaps.

We have recently developed our retail ranges of products which will be launched this year into various chain stores.

A full personalised service to hotels and guest establishments. Our staff is able to conceptualise the range of products and manufacture them exactly to their requirements.

Personalised brands are a great way of marketing an establishment as the guests love to collect these products and a personalised range will always keep the visit to the hotel in sight.

BED AND BREAKFAST SERVICE

Mitras strength comes from the Initiation of their Guest House Service, we offer a one stop shopping experience to the smaller hospitality establishment, products on offer range from towels and linen, cleaning materials, tea, coffee and sugar, and other bedroom accessories. South Africa has one of the largest bed and breakfast networks in the world and these equate to 25% of rooms available.

EXPORTS AND DISTRIBUTION

Mitras are SADAC registered, which enable distribution of locally manufactured goods into African countries with reduced export/import rates. Mitras currently supply goods to various parts of Africa.

The local South African distribution network covers the entire country and reputable freight companies are partnered with to deliver our goods promptly and perfectly.

We take care in sourcing only the best ingredients and materials from which to manufacture of products, our products are people, animal and nature friendly. We pride ourselves in our formulations and are always on the look out for friendlier ingredients.

Mitras get involved with Various charities and give back to the community, a recent initiative was Mentoring at the Durban Chamber of Commerce, held at the Wentworth and Surrounding areas. Charities we regularly support include the Sunflower Fund, iThemba, Fair Haven - Indlela and The Open Door.
