MRJones Consultant & Associates, LLC is a

strategic planning, grant writing and consulting company for small to large businesses seeking to secure a sound

funding base for a variety of not-for-profit purposes. MRJones Consultant &

Associates, LLC was established in 2009 by Melody R. Jones after years of networking and collaborating on fundraising initiatives to support direct social services. Ms. Jones

has over 20 years successfully writing award winning grants for nonprofit

organizations since 1990.

ABOUT THE PRINCIPAL INVESTIGATOR/RESEARCHER/GRANT WRITER

Melody R. Jones has developed and gained national recognition for her years of knowledge and experience in her

chosen profession as a non-profit management and fund raising specialist. She possesses an exceptionally strong

understanding of grant research and development, grant negotiations, whether it at the local, state or national level or

if for private of public funds.

She also has years of experience contributing her talents and skills to

communities in Texas, D.C., and New York and for that, she has received

numerous accolades and honors, including one of many awards, the

Thousand Points of Light Award by President George H. W. Bush.

Ms. Jones holds a masters in Political Science/International Affairs from the University of Texas San Antonio, and a masters

in Public Policy from the University of the Incarnate Word. She's traveled nationally and internationally into gaining a

perspective on family life.

Demand of our Grant Writing Boot Camp Trainings and Mini Conferences, all from the comfort of your office or home.

Attendees and viewers can hear discussions on special topics chosen from a list of inquiries received from viewers and

attendees before broadcast sessions.

Live StreamingBeginning In *August 2013, we will begin offering our training

sessions via live video streaming service which allows broadcasters to deliver 24/7 real-time streaming media to just about any

platform and device.

This 4-day touring conference and intensive workshop provides valuable practical and hands-on

training in establishing partnerships and networks with local entrepreneurs in developing innovative

Come hear and interact with leading authorities with successful socially responsible enterprises,

and other experts in the field of government, private and public foundations on how to position

your business or organization in pursuing and accessing grants to aid in developing and or expanding your visions for a Social Venture

Ms. Jones has written numerous grants totaling over $4 million in

support of the efforts of her organization. She also received an

endowment totaling $1.8 million to support her Emergency and

Transitional Housing program for homeless and runaway pregnant

and parenting teenagers. Ms. Jones was instrumental in partnering

with the Center for Policy Studies at the University of Texas at San

Antonio in the development and grant writing of a grant totaling

$825,000 to support a Texas-wide research on Teenage Pregnancy

and Public Policy.

Featured in local newspapers and magazines, and interviewed by national radio stations, Melody Jones has been nationally recognized for her

contribution to family, children, and youth. The Late Senator Frank Tejeda invited Ms. Jones to speak before the 1996 Congressional Markup Hearing

on the Welfare Reform and its affect on parent and parenting teens, and their families. The invitation can on the heel of the Republicans’ House Ways and Means Committee introduced of the welfare reform bill with two tiers of

AFDC, the transition program and the work program. She has spoken, on behalf of the poor and common law, to audiences of various non-profit and

civic groups on Faith-Based Initiatives, and other mandates serving low-income and disadvantage neighborhoods and communities throughout the

US., and abroad.

o Educational institutions received the second largest percentage, with 13% of total estimated

contributions.

o Human service organizations accounted for 9% of total estimated contributions in 2009, the fourth

largest share.

Therefore, MRJones Consultant & Assoc., LLC increases the chances organizations, agencies, and individual

received funding through building of relationships with donors.

According to the National Center for Charitable Statistics there were a total of 104,223 organizations registered in Texas in 2009. Charitable contributions by individuals, foundations and corporations reached $303.75 billion in 20091 , a decrease of 3.2% from 2008 after adjusting for inflation. Of these charitable contributions:

o Religious organizations received the largest share, with 33% of total estimated contributions.
