This is the front cover (12x12cm)

This is the back cover (12x12)

For the front cover I duplicated the layer so that I could change the colour to black and white

Then I de-saturated the image

Then I clicked on the eraser tool

And simply erased the top layer so the leaves came out the colour of

the layer behind.
