»Surveillance« defined as cameras watching over public spaces

Cameras can legally be operated by administration/executive...

...or by certain hi-risk venues like banks, juwelry stores, etc.

sometimes cameras are operated without legal basis

some cameras are operated by unknown entities

Brin’s corollary to Moore’s Law: The cameras will get smaller, cheaper, more numerous and more mobile

every year.

› too much competition in social media space

› individual contributors, but no community

› too little incentive after initial »aha«-effect

› gamification too superficial

› mobile app slow, buggy, too complicated

› Sarah & Alex finish studies, leave uni

though still committed to the project
