SCIP stands for The Strategic and Competitive Intelligence Professionals (SCIP - www.scip.org), formerly the Society of Competitive Intelligence Professionals. It is a global non-profit membership organization for everyone involved in creating and managing business knowledge. Their mission is to enhance the success of their members through leadership, education, advocacy, and networking. We (ValueNotes), in association with SCIP, are trying to initiate a SCIP chapter in India. Through this survey, we want to gauge your level of interest in being a part of this initiative.

Qualification criteria for steering committee members

• Interested in being a part of the steering committee

• At least 5-9 yeas of relevant CI experience

• Frequency of attending chapter meeting: at least monthly or quarterly

• Location preference for chapter meetings: willing to travel to at least 2 cities (Mumbai being one of them preferably)

• Contribution to steering committee: atleast one of the following: Time in organizing events or Hosting events at your city

• Current location: Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Pune

• LinkedIn profile – past experience, education background, etc.

• Based on the above, we short-listed 15 candidates, whom we later talked to to get a clearer understanding of their interest. This process is still underway.
