Seven Signs Your Candidate Didn’t Prepare
for the Interview
[as demonstrated by cats]
When asked, “Why did you apply for a position with our company,” they either don’t have an answer or it’s very generic - something like I saw it posted on Indeed.
They look like they just rolled out of bed...or didn’t bother to sleep.
They don’t ask any job or company-specific questions
during the interview.
Their answers are cookie-cutter - suggesting the candidatedoes not know any specifics about the position or company.
They don’t offer examples to support their answers.
They don’t provide references, or of the references they list, none are
previous supervisors.
