SMARKETINGRECRUITMENT
SMU Marketing Club (Smarketing), formerly known as SM4P, was established in 2009. The Club aims to provide students with further insights and hands-on learning through greater exposure to the marketing industry, as well as cultivate interest in marketing as an academic discipline. We hope to be a platform to hear from marketing professionals across a variety of industries through networking sessions, as well as facilitate the development of our students by providing opportunities to participate in competitions and other external events.

“Gorilla” (Guerilla) Marketing
In 2012, under a rebranding exercise, the SMU Marketing Club, Smarketing is born. Further to that, we have stepped up on our social media efforts to include a brand new Facebook and Twitter page.
In January, we launched a Guerilla Marketing within the school compounds that ran for 3 days to promote the new club name. The campaign was well-received with the gorilla becoming our official mascot.
Vivace 2012
Smarketing promoted itself to the freshmen at Vivace 2012 in August to increase awareness for the club. Taking inspiration for the increasingly popular Instagram, we recreated a mobile Instagram photobooth.
