GADCOOLER is a new, energy efficient and environmentally friendly way to generate cooling for ships. It’s a powerful and silent system based on absorption technology, using waste heat to provide cooling for air conditioning for all kinds of ships. In the tropics, the energy to meet a ships’ cooling demand can rise to as much as 40% of the total fuel consumption. LANGH TECH OY AB

Langh Tech designs and manufactures scrubbers for SOx removal from exhaust gas and water treatment units for closed loop scrubbers. The water treatment units can be delivered also alongside with other manufacturers’ scrubbers. This unique water treatment method enables continuous closed loop operation causing only a mini-mal amount of sludge and hence reducing waste removal costs. The efficiency of the water treatment method is recognised throughout the shipping industry from cargo ship owners to cruise ship operators.

The closed loop process is based on wet scrubbing with fresh water and using sodium hydroxide (NaOH) for neutralising sulphur. In the open loop mode sea water is used in the exhaust gas washing process. The small and lightweight Langh Tech scrubber can replace the silencer. The scrubber and water treatment units are designed for both retrofit installations as well as for new buildings. In addition to component delivery, Langh Tech takes care of commissioning and offers installation supervision, crew training and after-sales services.

One example of the accomplished lighting projects is one of the world’s best-known landmark buildings project, Jumeirah Burj Al Arab Terrace in Dubai. The biggest lamp for this this project was a lighting installation, over 30 meter long, located at the main restaurant. Weldmec is a family-owned company founded in 1996. The company focuses mainly on workboats, with own brand Serecraft and for other OEM brands, as well as on our own pleasure boat brand Modius.

Our own workboat / commercial vessel brand ”SERECRAFT” are high-class boats built from steel and aluminium. Most of our products are customized to customer’s specific needs and design requirements. We manufacture the boats to customer’s requirements for class notifications and to local regulations such as eg. FMAW (Finnish Maritime Authorities for Workboats), NBSY N90, and MCA. Depending on the case, we work closely with classification societies such as DNV, GL, RMRS, and RRR, etc.

Our services are based on customer specific requirements, high quality standards, effective project management ensuring accurate delivery times and cost-effective fabrication. ”Custom Made as stand-ard” is a slogan we have adopted for our boat design, production, project management and deliveries. Our quality assurance system is certified to ISO 9001:2008 management standards. In addition to that we highlight customer service and communication through the delivery to ensure pleased customers. We also have achieved environmental certification of our operations to ISO 14001:2004 standards.

Weldmec Marine has its own in-house designers for Serecraft and customer specific boats as well as production drawings. We also constantly work closely with several design bureaus on specific projects for all aspects of a commercial boat manufacturing and delivery projects. Our way of working enables design from scratch to turnkey deliveries or if required, manufacturing from customers design draw-ings.

We have manufactured vessels to customers drawings and own drawings ranging from 6,5 m open alu-minium workboats all the way up to 25 m fully equipped steel vessels. Beginning from 1998, Weldmec has manufactured and delivered over 300 workboats globally.
