When talking to employers and hiring managers, we must verbally demonstrate our readiness for the job We can do this by researching the company and learning what it

is that they like to do If/when possible, find someone that knows them and ask for an

introduction and/or a referral When this is not an option, prove your readiness to the person

providing you the job lead
