b. Position Overview
We’re looking for a tech savvy, social media intern who is interested in learning about social media
marketing, online marketing, SEO, and content management. This is a great opportunity for a student or
recent grad.
They must have strong communication and writing skills, be able to learn new technologies quickly, and
MUST WRITE AND SPEAK ENGLISH FLUENTLY.
c. Key Duties & Responsibilities
‐ Take ownership of, maintain, and grow allocated blog and social media accounts
‐ Assist the Social Media Manager in various day to day marketing tasks
‐ Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Translating, posting, and writing blog posts via wordpress
Writing engaging posts across various social media platforms
Managing, budgeting, and testing Spanish Facebook advertising
Assisting in social media and site‐wide contests, promotions, and sales
Inputting and editing content using various content management systems
Assisting in the launch of new blogs and social media accounts
Tweeting. LOTS of Tweeting.

d. Key Skills / Experience / Knowledge / Qualifications
‐ Tech savvy, able to learn new web applications quickly
‐ Self‐directed; willing and able to take ownership of projects

f. Location: UltraSpectra Office, F-10 Markaz, Islamabad
g. Responsible to: Social Media Manager
h. Compensation:
- Up to 40 hours per week‐ Must be able to multi task, stay organized, and juggle various
responsibilities and projects
- Must be fluent in English and have strong translating skills (you will be tested)
- Very comfortable using and learning social networking sites (i.e. if you don’t know what hashtag,
@mention, or what Google+ is please don’t bother applying.)
- Familiarity with basic HTML; FBML, CSS, and other web languages a plus but not required
- Experience with Microsoft office (Excel specifically), Blogging platforms (Wordpress, Blogger,
etc.), and Photo Editing software (Photoshop, SnagIt, Gimp, etc.)
- Experience with Omniture, Google Analytics and/or other web analytic software a plus but not
required
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Previous experience using Content Management Systems and/or working on a website a plus
- Extra bonus points if you have your own blog or website!
