Zara’s character is the camera women, she’s a very plain girly character, who wears plain dresses and plain colours, not drawing attention to herself. That is why she is behind the camera and not in front of it. Skirt, t-shirt, jumper. Eyeliner, mascara and lipstick.

CeCe is Freya’s friend she is not spiritual like Freya she is very protective over Freya. Her costume is plain and causal, she is plain and quiet so her costume matches her personality. She doesn't’t like to stand out. Skinny jeans, cardigan, dolly shoes and vest top.

Freya is a very spiritual character who can sense spirits, because her character is very spiritual I want to dress her in floral print like hippy style cloths (1960’s clothes) and braids in her hair such as small plaits and also we want to spray different colours in the strands of her hair to make it look like the character is very spiritual and like a hippy she just wants peace. She is not just hippy like she dresses like a gypsy too with excessive accessories.

Darcey, because Darcey is possessed she stays in the same costume for the whole trailer. The costume she is going to be wearing will be simple plain pj’s this is because she is unable to change clothes because of the spirit that is taking over her body. Her make up is plain with eyeliner that has been smudged and run. Pink pajamas.

Plot:

Darcey a teenage girl possessed by a spirit. Her sister asks someone to help get rid of the spirit.Darcey realises what they are trying to do and kills them one by one.

Characters:

Darcey played by Katryna CeCe played by Surma Freya played by YasmineZara played by Nabah

Setting/s:

The film is set in this year.We are going to film in the dark to add thrill and excitement because you wont be able to see what's going on.Outside (back garden) Inside two different houses

Conventions:

HatredFearDeathSacrificeViolenceRevenge Haunting

Diegesis:

Because we will be filming at night there will be mostly silence and sounds such as creeks and footsteps. The silence leads to expectations and scares people/ the audience more. The film will include screams, slammed doors, and sounds of foot steps getting closer. We will also have a backing track played in the back ground and gradually getting louder as the trailer progresses.

Editing:

We are going to make the editing faster at the end to go with the backing track we will make the trailer build up slowly showing a slight short story of the film then we will add scary bits and pieces to try and get the audience to be fascinated about the film. Also the clips shown will not be in order there will be different clips from different scenes.

Mise en scene:

Dark(night vision)

Cinematography:

Close upLong shot Mid shot High angle shots

Location

House. we thought this would be a really realistic filming location because it makes the film more frightening when it happens in the place you’re more vulnerable in a place you feel safe. You feel safe because your not out in the open, you’re behind closed doors , Where you least expect scary things to happen, it scares the audience more and keeps them on the edge throughout the film.

We thought that a back garden would be quite good scenery instead of using the house for all the scenes. We want the light to be pitch black with a back light so you can see the characters. We thought that because you cant see what’s going on but only hear it the audience will fear the unknown. Also like I said about the house the characters are vulnerable because they are out in the open and easily harmed also they have nothing to protect themselves from danger if something does happen they have nothing to protect themselves with.
