A Logo is mainly recognized by its two elements, that is its color and shape. The right shapes and colors can reflect the purpose of the business in a clear manner making your brand eye catching and memorable. According to psychological studies certain shapes generate certain kind of reactions and emotional responses in people.

For example, the squares induce a sense of safety and stability, Circles impart a sense of the infinite or security, triangles induce a reaction towards dynamism and movement, while curves and ovals inviting and organic. Blobs and squiggles induce reactions like fun and excitement. This is the reason as to why most of these basic shapes are used by the popular brands.
