DESCRIPTION
Do you struggle to create complex surface models with Autodesk Inventor? Perhaps you’ve used T-Splines in Rhino, Fusion360 or Solidworks? What do you think? Will the new Freeform tools will change the way you design in the future? At the risk of being critical of Inventor, to model effectively in Inventor – you really need to have designed your parts already. If you don’t know how you are going to make your design before you start modelling you can become unstuck pretty quickly. What I think is fascinating about Freeform is that it allows a workflow which we’ve never had in Inventor before – the ability to quickly throw down ideas without having to worry too much about how we are creating our models…
