More than visualisation

Designing information does not necessarily mean converting data into pretty charts and graphs. It means converting data into the sort of information that provides useful knowledge to decision makers.

they are exposed to•How they can be reached

Circle of critical importance – people are more likely to relate to issues closer to their personal concerns (Lin, 2009)

IIID and the Global Project Outlook 2010–2011(...) the issue is how to identify a small number of areas the Project should focus on, considering the limited resources available.

Increase agricultural productivity in rural India•Identifying the needs of small farmers•Identify best practice/practitioners•Use mobile phone as central, interactive

device to:- inform and educate farmers- gather relevant data- encourage knowledge transfer and sharing

with peers
