VersionAbsolute Design Studio (VADS) is a full service

wayfinding and sign design consultancy based out of New

Delhi and Bengaluru.

VADS has been consulting in this area of design since

2002 for projects and clients in India and more recently,

overseas.

solution suppliers in the country to realise our design

solutions for our clients.

Over the years, we have worked with all sorts of sign manufacturers & vendors all over India. We are aware of the weaknesses and strengths of the vendors and we will guide the client to select the most appropriate vendor. As practicing architects, in the recent past, we have successfully used some of our interior and architecture vendors to manufacture signs for us and we have seen that their quality and finish is far superior to many traditional sign manufacturer’s.

Sign Design and Wayfinding for Antara Senior Living project in Dehradun.Exterior signs in HPL, cast concrete, powder-coated aluminium. All text and information screen printed or as punched through acrylic letters internally LED illuminated.

Material palette selected reflect the positioning of the development and creates distinction between the retail and commercial nature of the buildings.

This is our first project in Mumbai where we have successfully integrated a digital information system within our signs.

Sign Design and Wayfinding for DIAL Hospitality District and Roads leading to T1 and T3, New DelhiWe have designed the complete wayfinding and sign design system for the DIAL district and as a part of our sign design scope, specified an overall district art strategy.

Sign Design and Wayfinding for Palladium, Mumbai.Signs were designed to extend the art-deco theme of the mall interiors. Signs were designed in Italian Marble, Onyx, SS with 3M Dinoc vinyl pasting and Aluminium.

Sign Design and Wayfinding for Jaypee Palace Hotel & Convention Centre, AgraOne of our first design and build projects. External Signs were designed in Black Himachal Slate and Sandstone with all information sand blasted onto its surface and epoxy color filled.

Sign Design and Wayfinding for AlphaOne MallOur first of two retail wayfinding projects with the erstwhile AlphaG:Corp. The AlphaOne Amritsar property is spread over 12acres and 5.5 million sqftof retail and entertainment with large anchor tenants such as Hypercity and Fun Cinema.

Sign Design and Wayfinding for AlphaOne MallOur second wayfinding projects with AlphaG:Corp. The AlphaOneAhmedabad property is prominently located adjacent to Vastrapur lake and has over 7 million sqft of retail and entertainment brands.

Sign Design and Wayfinding for TI Mall, IndoreWe were recently engaged to revamp the sign design scheme for this mall. We had designed the original scheme and now with the mall being refurbished and re-positioned, the development called for a fresh wayfinding and sign design scheme.

Our scheme took inspiration from the cut and tessellations of the diamond jewels of the Holkar dynasty. This thought was then translated to forms manufactured in corian.

Sign Design and Wayfinding for PVR CinemasOur first client in the space of sign design & wayfinding, we started working with PVR from when they constructed their first multiplex in India way back in 2002. We worked with them for the next 10 years, learning and developing the sign design scheme as the brand grew to become what it is today.
