In 1990, Dragages Hong Kong, subsidiary of world-class builder

Bouygues Construction, took the strategic decision to establish

its own E&M specialist company. The purpose was to offer

design-and-build services and fast-track construction to clients on

a turnkey basis for E&M works. BYME Engineering Hong Kong

was born.

25 years later, BYME has grown to become one of the

foremost E&M contractors in Hong Kong and the region. The

company has worked on a significant number of landmark

projects that contribute to Hong Kong’s status as Asia’s world city:

Hong Kong Stadium, MTR and KCRC railway stations and

tunnels, Cathay Pacific Headquarters, TVB City, AsiaWorld-Expo,

Mandarin Oriental Hotel, SkyCity Marriott Hotel, Civil Aviation

Department Headquarters, Kai Tak Cruise Terminal Building,

and many more.

BYME Hong Kong is considered a key asset for the Bouygues

Construction group, delivering high-quality E&M services in a

safe, reliable and efficient manner. The collaboration model with

Dragages has been such a success that it was exported to other

markets in Asia and globally. Under the BYME International umbrella,

E&M companies and business units were established in

Macau, Singapore, Qatar, Turkmenistan, Croatia, the U.S. and

most recently, Ghana, to provide E&M services for Bouygues

Construction’s high-profile international projects. Everywhere

we go, we combine the strength of our established global group

with the on-ground knowledge of our local staff.

CITYPLAZA THREE & FOUR 1990 - 1992 | Client: Swire Properties

Comprising two 23-storey Grade-A office towers, a common

basement mall and covering a total of 107,000 square metres,

Cityplaza phases three and four are part of the vibrant business

district of Island East. The twin towers offer panoramic views of

the harbour and are home to numerous multinational companies.

BYME (initially a joint venture company between Dragages

Hong Kong and Young’s Engineering) delivered the complete

E&M package for this integrated complex, including electrical,

fire services and plumbing installations and the MVAC installation

using a sea-water cooling system.

Our Origin

Cityplaza Three & Four is the project where BYME originated.

Recognizing the strategic importance of building services engineering

for the successful delivery of construction projects, the E&M

joint venture between Dragages and Young’s was incorporated

to become a subsidiary company of Dragages in 1990.

太古城中心第三、第四期1990 - 1992 | 客戶: 太古地產有限公司

太古城中心第三期與第四期,座落於充滿活力的港島東商業區,由兩棟

23層的甲級寫字樓大廈和互通的地下商場所組成,總佔地107,000平方米。

此棟雙子大樓可以看到港灣全景,是許多跨國公司的基地。嘉福(當時

是香港寶嘉與景福工程的聯營公司)為這種複合建築提供了完整的機電

整合方案,包括電力、消防系統、配管安裝,以及利用海水冷卻的中央

冷氣裝置。

我們的出發點

太古城中心第三、第四期是嘉福起步的第一個項目。由於寶嘉了解到在

大樓建造項目中成功完成各種服務和工程策略的重要性,寶嘉與景福組

成聯營公司,於1990年嘉福成為寶嘉的附屬公司。

HONG KONG STADIUM REDEVELOPMENT1992 - 1994 | Client: Royal Hong Kong Jockey Club

Originally known as Government Stadium, the redevelopment of Hong Kong Stadium mainly

consisted in an increase of the capacity to 40,000 spectators with a roof covering 75 percent of the

seating area. In addition, an ancillary office building, lecture theatre, public address system and large

vision screen were added to the new complex. The stadium is the main sports venue of Hong Kong

and home to the world famous Hong Kong Sevens rugby tournament.

BYME oversaw the design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of all E&M services and

was responsible for the maintenance of the facility for a further 6 months.

Fast-track Programme

Dragages and BYME committed to completing the project a full year earlier than the contract

schedule. The design and construction process were streamlined to finish the works within 36 months.

HONG KONG | HONG KONG STADIUM | 香港大球場重建

香港大球場重建1992 - 1994 | 客戶: 英皇御准香港賽馬會

香港大球場,原稱政府大球場。重建內容主要包括將可容納觀眾數量擴增至40,000名,以及建造半開放的蓋頂,

覆蓋75%的座位區。此外,在這個新的複合設施上,添加一座附設辦公室大樓、演講廳、公共演說系統和特大型

屏幕。香港大球場是香港舉辦體育活動的主要地點,也是著名的香港國際七人欖球邀請賽每年舉辦場地。嘉福為

該場地所有機電設備的設計、供應、安裝、測試以及投入使用進行監督,並且負責之後六個月的保養維修。

快速施工方案

寶嘉與嘉福的設計和施工流程都經過優化,在三十六個月之內完成工作,比合約預定日期提早一整年完成項目。

HONG KONG | CENTRALISED GOVERNMENT GODOWN | 政府中央倉庫

CENTRALISED GOVERNMENT GODOWN1995 - 1996 | Client: Architectural Services Department,

Hong Kong Government

This two-building, purpose-built, warehouse in Chai Wan was

built to serve as a storage facility for multiple government

departments. The buildings, covering 49,000 square metres, were

designed with different configurations to accommodate specific

user requirements. Some storeys were up to eight metres high,

while others required specialised storage facilities for hazardous

materials and drugs. BYME was appointed for the design and

construction of all E&M services.

First Design-and-Build

Centralised Government Godown was the first design-and-

build contract for an entire building for the Architectural Services

Department of the Hong Kong Government, an important

milestone as this procurement method is widely used today by

the Department.

政府中央倉庫1995 - 1996 | 客戶: 香港政府建築署

中央倉庫位於柴灣,包含兩座建築,計畫作為多個政府部門的儲藏倉庫。

建築佔地49,000平方米,按照多種特殊格局設計,以配合使用者的

需求,例如某些樓層高達8米,而另一些樓層則需要安裝專門的設備來

儲存危險材料與藥品。嘉福被指定負責所有機電服務的設計與施工。

首次設計建造整合服務

中央倉庫是首次為香港政府建築署,透過設計建造整合工程合約而

完成的項目。這是一個重要的里程碑,而這種合約模式現已受到建築署

的廣泛採用。

TUNG CHUNG MTR STATION1995 - 1998 | Client: MTR Corporation

Tung Chung terminus is the MTR rapid transport system on the

Tung Chung Line. The station is located in the neighbourhood of

the same name on the north-western coast of Lantau Island, which

is one of the latest generation of new towns in Hong Kong and

continues to be developed in phases with a target population of

250,000. Thus the majority of buildings in the station’s catchment

area today are residential towers and schools. BYME’s scope of

works comprised the design, supply, installation and testing &

commissioning of all E&M services for the new station and the

traction substation.

Client Diversification

Tung Chung MTR Station is the first project where BYME was

not working as a subcontractor of its parent company, Dragages

Hong Kong. This marked the beginning of a new era for the

young company that started developing its own portfolio of

diversified clients.

港鐵東涌站1995 - 1998 | 客戶: 港鐵公司

東涌站位於大嶼山西北岸的東涌區,是港鐵東涌綫的其中一個車站。

東涌是香港新一代新市鎮之一,分階段持續發展,目標人口250,000。

該車站服務對象大多是周邊的住宅和學校。嘉福的工作範圍包括新

車站和牽引變電站內所有機電服務的設計、供應、安裝、測試與

投入使用。

顧客的多樣化

港鐵東涌站是嘉福以獨立承辦商的身份進行的第一個工程項目,籍此

開啟了嘉福這間年輕公司的新時代,發展更多樣化的客戶組群。

CATHAY PACIFIC HEADQUARTERS &CATERING CENTRE1996 - 1999 | Clients: Cathay Pacific Airways /

Cathay Pacific Catering Services (HK)

In the late 1990s, Cathay Pacific appointed Dragages and BYME

to build major facilities on the newly developed Chek Lap Kok

airport site. The first project consisted of the construction of

Cathay Pacific’s new headquarters, today known as Cathay City,

comprising office buildings, a staff hotel, a flight training centre and

an airline stores building with a total floor area of 145,500 square

metres, making it one of the largest corporate head office facilities

in Asia. The second project, erected on a site nearby, was the

Cathay Pacific Catering Centre, one of the largest flight kitchens in

the world with a floor area of 57,000 square metres.

BYME provided the full E&M package for both projects (in a

joint venture with Balfour Beatty and Young’s Engineering for the

latter project).

Delivery by Sea

A main challenge for this project was the absence of road access

to the Chek Lap Kok site, meaning that all equipment had to be

delivered by barge. Over 1,000 containers were shipped from around

the world, including 25 industrial washing machines, a vacuum waste

system and a 3.5-kilometre conveyor system.

在1990年代後期,國泰航空指定寶嘉與嘉福為新開發的赤鱲角機場

地盤建造主要設施。第一個工程項目包括國泰新總部(現稱國泰城)

的施工,其中包含辦公大樓、員工酒店、飛航訓練中心以及倉庫大樓,

總樓板面積達145,500平方米,是亞洲最大的企業總部設施之一。第二個

與此鄰近的工程項目為國泰航膳廠房,是世界最大的空中餐點廚房之一,

樓面面積為57,000平方米。

嘉福為這兩項工程提供完整的機電方案(在第二個項目是與鮑佛貝蒂

海路運輸

此工程項目面臨的最主要挑戰是缺少通往赤鱲角工地的陸路,所有設備

都必須靠駁船運輸。超過1,000個貨櫃從世界各地運來,包括25部工業用

洗滌機、真空廢棄物處理系統,以及長達3.5公里的輸送系統。

HONG KONG | KCRC RAILWAY PROJECTS | 九廣鐵路工程項目

KCRC RAILWAY PROJECTS1999 - 2006 | Client: Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation

The late 1990s and early 2000s saw the development of several major

railway infrastructure projects in Hong Kong, including the new West

Rail Line and the extension of the East Rail Line in order to provide a

second border crossing between Hong Kong SAR and mainland China.

BYME was responsible for all the E&M works for the 5.5-kilometre

Tai Lam Tunnel, part of the West Rail Line, and the 5-kilometre

Sheung Shui to Chau Tau Twin Tunnels, part of the East Rail Line

extension, under the leadership of mother company Dragages

and sister company Bouygues Travaux Publics. BYME also provided

the electrical installation for the Lok Ma Chau Terminus adjacent to

the Shenzhen River with Balfour Beatty - Lam Joint Venture as the

main contractor.

Tunnel Expertise

Thanks to these major railway infrastructure projects, BYME

developed a specific expertise in E&M systems for tunnels and

established itself as a specialist in that field. Indeed, these types

of projects have very specific and stringent requirements in

terms of environmental control, fire services, electrical supply

and control systems.

九廣鐵路工程項目1999 - 2006 | 客戶: 九廣鐵路公司

1990年代末至2000年代初是香港重大鐵路基建項目的發展時期,包括

西鐵綫的新建工程和東鐵綫的延伸工程,籍以提供香港特區與中國大陸

間新的跨境路綫。

在母公司寶嘉和姊妹公司Bouygues Travaux Publics領導下,嘉福負責

西鐵綫長達5.5公里的大欖隧道,以及東鐵延伸5公里長,連接上水至

洲頭雙隧道的所有機電工作。嘉福也和鮑佛貝蒂 – 景福工程的聯營公司

作為主承辦商,共同提供深圳河邊落馬洲總站的所有電力設備安裝。

擁有隧道的專門知識

托這些大型鐵路基建項目之福,嘉福因此熟習隧道機電系統的專門

TVB CITY2000 - 2002 | Client: Television Broadcasts

When Hong Kong’s Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB), the world’s

largest producer and distributor of Chinese-language programmes,

decided to upgrade its facilities, it looked to Dragages and BYME

for the construction of its new 118,000-square-metre state-of-the-art

TVB City. The new complex comprised six specialised buildings

with studios, offices, workshops and restaurants, occupying a

9-hectare site in Tseung Kwan O.

BYME was appointed to carry out the design, supply, installation

and testing and commissioning of all the E&M services (in a joint

venture with Young’s Engineering).

High Tech Facility

The huge TVB City project presented a number of challenges,

most notably the need to accommodate some of the world’s

most sophisticated acoustic and recording equipment.

電視廣播城2000 - 2002 | 客戶: 電視廣播有限公司

全球最大的中文電視節目製作與分銷商-香港電視廣播有限公司(TVB)

決定更新及提升其設施,指定了寶嘉與嘉福為其建造面積達118,000

平方米,設備先進的電視廣播城。這座新的複合建築包含六棟為不同

用途而設計的大樓,包含攝影棚、辦公室、工作室和餐廳。地盤位於

將軍澳,工地佔地達9公頃。

嘉福(透過與景福工程的聯營公司)被指定執行所有機電服務的設計、

供應、安裝、測試以及投入使用。

高科技設施

巨大的電視廣播城帶來一系列挑戰,其中最重要的是安裝世界上最

精密和複雜的音響及錄製設備。

ASIAWORLD-EXPO2003 - 2006 | Client: Hong Kong SAR Government and

Dragages-led private sector consortium

AsiaWorld-Expo is a public-private partnership involving funding from

the Hong Kong SAR Government and a private sector consortium

led by Dragages Hong Kong. The world-class venue offers over

70,000 square metres of rentable space for exhibitions, conventions,

concerts, sports and entertainment events and includes the biggest

purpose-built indoor seated entertainment arena in Hong Kong - able

to hold 14,000 people. It is integrated with Hong Kong International

Airport, the MTR train network and a ferry terminal.

BYME was responsible for the delivery of the full E&M package

for this major project and has been the facility maintenance

contractor since its opening 10 years ago.

Value Engineering

AsiaWorld-Expo is home to many value engineering options

that have been proposed and implemented by BYME. The initial

cost of the chiller plant was reduced by 60 percent following the

introduction of a latent thermal storage system. Furthermore,

installation and maintenance costs were slashed thanks to the

use of innovative textile diffuser ducts: a first in Hong Kong.

亞洲國際博覽館2003 - 2006 | 客戶: 香港特區政府以及由香港寶嘉牽頭的私人企業聯盟

亞洲國際博覽館是一個公私合營的設施,由香港特區政府以及香港寶嘉

牽頭的私人企業聯盟共同出資。這個世界級的設施面積超過70,000

平方米,內有展覽、會議、體育與娛樂活動的出租空間,更包含全港

最大的室內有座表演場地,可容納14,000人。連接香港國際機場、港鐵

鐵路網和渡輪碼頭。

嘉福負責實施此項重大工程的整體機電方案,並且在10年前開幕至今,

嘉福一直作為博覽館的維修保養公司。

價值工程

亞洲國際博覽館是嘉福一直以來提倡與實踐多項價值工程方案的絕佳

實行案例。透過引進潛熱儲存系統和製冷設備,把最初的成本降低了

約60%。此外,使用革新性的紡織通風管道,也讓安裝與維護的成本

大幅降低,是香港最早的多項價值工程方案案例。

CLP CABLE TUNNELS2004 - 2009 | Client: CLP Power Hong Kong

CLP Power is the largest vertically-integrated electricity generation,

transmission and distribution company in Hong Kong serving 80

percent of the territory’s population. The utility appointed Dragages

and BYME to design and build five cable tunnels and a crossing in

different locations in Hong Kong. Among them, the 4.5-kilometre

Castle Peak Cable Tunnel, CLP’s longest and largest tunnel, allowing

for the installation of eight high-voltage cable circuits bringing

essential power supply to the growing urban area of Tuen Mun

and the Chek Lap Kok Airport.

BYME provided the full E&M package for all tunnels including

ventilation system, electrical installation, dry fire services, gas

detection system and ELV and BMS systems.

Working with the Community

Strong community relations were an integral part of the project,

with more than 100 village meetings, site visits, seminars, forums

and fun days arranged.

中華電力是香港最大的垂直整合發電、傳輸以及分銷公司,服務香港

八成的人口。此公用事業指定寶嘉及嘉福在香港不同地點設計建造

五條電纜隧道,以及一條水平導向挖鑽管道。其中最長、最巨大,

長達4.5公里的青山電纜隧道,必須容納8條高壓電纜電路,以便為急速

成長的屯門市區以及赤鱲角國際機場供應電力。

嘉福為所有的隧道提供了完整的機電方案,包括通風系統、電力安

裝、 乾式消防系統、氣體偵測系統、低電壓系統和建築物管理系統。

與社區合作

MANDARIN ORIENTAL RENOVATION2005 - 2008 | Client: Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group

The Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong opened its doors in 1963 as

“The Mandarin” and quickly gained recognition for its service and

elegance. Today, the Mandarin Oriental still enjoys an unbeatable

reputation thanks to its breathtaking style, legendary service and

fantastic central location.

In 2005, BYME was chosen by Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group

for the renovation of the full E&M package of its five-star flagship

hotel, consisting of 503 guestrooms and 71,000 square metres of

gross floor area.

Challenging Execution

The main challenge was to complete the main risers for the whole

building in a very fast-track manner to allow the grand opening for

lower and topmost floors while still working on the middle floors.

Another major constraint was the hotel’s central location. BYME

adopted an innovative and optimized prefabricated approach and

very strict control of logistics to deliver the materials and equipment

on-site in the heart of the city.

香港文華東方酒店始於1963年的文華酒店,之後很快透過其高質素的

服務及優雅品味廣受認可。直到今日,文華東方酒店還是透過其高雅的

風格、出名的服務品質和位於中環的極佳地點而享有美譽。

2005年,文華東方酒店集團選擇了嘉福為其五星級旗艦酒店進行完整

的機電翻新方案,包含503間客房以及71,000平方米的總樓板面積。

極具挑戰的執行工作

此工程的主要挑戰,是要以非常快速的方式完成整座建築的垂直管道,

在低樓層與高樓層先啟用的同時,繼續對中間樓層施工。另一主要的

難關是該酒店處於香港中心最為繁忙熱鬧的位置。嘉福採用了創新且有

效率的預製件方式、嚴格控制後勤物流,克服重重障礙,將設備與材料

順利運到此位於城市核心的地點。

SKYCITY MARRIOTT HOTEL2006 - 2008 | Client: Union Sky Holdings

Nestled on the edge of Lantau Island, with stunning views of the South China Sea, the five-star

Hong Kong SkyCity Marriott Hotel is located near Hong Kong Airport and is directly connected to

AsiaWorld-Expo. It provides luxurious accommodation with 658 guest rooms, 14 state-of-the-art

meeting rooms, five restaurants, pampering spa treats at the boutique Quan Spa and has the

SkyCity Nine Eagles Golf Course on its door-step. BYME carried out the design and construction of

the full E&M package for this prestigious 47,000-square-metre hotel.

Complex Coordination

The proximity of the site to the airport presented various construction challenges that resulted in

optimised ceiling clear heights, meaning very challenging coordination between the different E&M

trades for BYME. Thanks to our experienced coordination team, meticulous planning and close

communication with the main contractor, the E&M installation was completed on a very fast-track

programme and with high quality standards.

天際萬豪酒店2006 - 2008 | 客戶: 順天集團有限公司

五星級的香港天際萬豪酒店座落於大嶼山的海岸,面對南海的絕佳美景、緊鄰香港國際機場,並且與亞洲博覽館

FOUR SEASONS HOTEL MACAO 2006 - 2008 | Client: Venetian Cotai

The Venetian Macau Parcel 2, now referred to as Four Seasons

Hotel Macao, is a prestigious development located in the Cotai

reclaimed area of Macau SAR. The development, for which BYME

was appointed as the E&M contractor, covers a total floor area

of 162,500 square metres and comprises a casino, a Billionaires

Club, a retail area, a car park and the Four Seasons Hotel with

360 guest rooms. The five-star hotel consists in a 19-storey tower

with elegant, neo-classical décor with Oriental accents.

Commitment to Planning

BYME had to deliver MOP 60 million of works per month. The

actual works had to be completed within 12 months and the total

workforce on the site totalled 1,300 per day during the peak

period. We successfully helped our client make up for lost time

and delivered the project in time for the grand opening.

MACAU | FOUR SEASONS HOTEL | 澳門四季酒店

澳門四季酒店2006 - 2008 | 客戶: 威尼斯人路氹酒店管理有限公司

澳門威尼斯人二期,現稱為澳門四季酒店,是位於澳門特區路氹填海區

的著名發展項目。這家19層的五星級酒店大樓,強調東方風格的優雅新

古典樣式進行室內裝修。該項目指定由嘉福作為機電承辦商,總樓面

面積達162,500平方米,包含360間客房的四季酒店、娛樂場、富豪

俱樂部、零售區域、停車場 。

對計畫的承諾

嘉福每個月都必須完成價值6千萬澳門幣的安裝工作,所有工作必須

在12個月之內完成。高峰期在工地的員工數目達到每日1,300人。

我們成功地協助客戶追回延誤的時間,並且準時完成項目以迎接

盛大開幕。

OCEAN PARK REDEVELOPMENT2007 - 2009 | Client: Ocean Park Corporation

The Ocean Park Redevelopment project doubled the number of

attractions in this popular theme park from 35 to 70 showpieces.

One of the new features was the funicular railway that shuttles

guests to and from different areas of the park while also providing

a marine conservation themed immersion with multimedia and

interactive entertainment during the ride.

BYME handled the construction of all E&M services for the 1.2-kilometre

funicular tunnel and miscellaneous works at Waterfront Terminus

and Summit Terminus.

Undisrupted Operations

The theme park remained fully operational during the whole period

of the construction works.

海洋公園重建工程2007 - 2009 | 客戶: 海洋公園

海洋公園的重建項目,將這座著名主題公園的遊樂設施從35項倍增至

70項。其中一個項目是興建海洋列車,接送遊客到公園的不同區域,

遊客在搭乘過程中還能享受以海洋保護為主題的多媒體互動娛樂。

嘉福負責興建1.2公里長的纜索列車隧道、車站、以及對所有機電設施

進行施工。

海洋公園在施工期間依然能夠完整營運。

HONG KONG | CIVIL AVIATION DEPARTMENT HEADQUARTERS | 民航處總部

CIVIL AVIATION DEPARTMENT HEADQUARTERS 2009 - 2012 | Client: Architectural Services Department,

Hong Kong Government

The new Civil Aviation Department Headquarters, located south-

east of Hong Kong International Airport, is a critical facility

housing the Air Traffic Control Centre which includes the Aircraft

Accident Investigation Department, the Rescue Coordination Centre,

Aeronautical Information Centre, and Aeronautical Network Centre.

Other associated facilities include examination & training facilities,

offices, a multi-purpose auditorium, conference rooms and an

educational path.

BYME was appointed as the specialist contractor for the design,

supply, installation, testing and commissioning of all E&M services

excluding MVAC.

Environmental Performance

In addition to energy efficient building services systems, this

BEAM Plus Platinum-certified facility required the installation of

many innovative green products and systems such as axial type

wind turbines, photovoltaic panels, solar powered lights, light pipes,

fibre optic solar tracking system and a state-of-the-art building

energy management system.

民航處總部2009 - 2012 | 客戶: 香港政府民航處

新民航處總部位於香港國際機場東南面,是香港航空業最重要設施

之一,內含香港航空交通管制中心,意外調查部、救援協調中心、

航空資料中心和航空通訊中心。其他相關設施還包括考核訓練場所、

辦公室、多用途演講廳、會議室以及教育徑。

KAI TAK CRUISE TERMINAL2010 - 2013 | Client: Architectural Services Department,

Hong Kong Government

The Kai Tak Cruise Terminal Building, designed by Foster+Partners,

was built to accommodate the world’s largest cruise vessels

and consolidate Hong Kong’s position as a premier cruise hub

in the region. The design comprises a series of connecting green

landscaped decks from the first level to the roof. The 42-metre

wide span column-free layout allows for maximum flexibility in the

utilisation of space, which can be configured in various layouts.

The design of the Cruise Terminal Building draws on a sustainable

construction approach that extends beyond low energy

consumption to the building’s overall long-term sustainability

performance. Green features in relation to energy conservation,

use of renewable energy and recycling are all incorporated.

BYME delivered the design, supply, installation, testing and

commissioning of all E&M services excluding MVAC.

Building Information Modelling

In order to optimise space within the building, the box beams

forming the primary structure have been used to lay out numerous

pipes and ducts from different building services. Building Information

Modelling (BIM) technology has been widely utilised for this

project to facilitate coordination between the design of the

structure and the electrical and mechanical package.

HONG KONG | KAI TAK CRUISE TERMINAL | 啟德郵輪碼頭

啟德郵輪碼頭2010 - 2013 | 客戶: 香港政府建築署

由福斯特建築事務所設計,啟德郵輪碼頭的興建是為了讓世界最大級

郵輪能夠停泊於香港,以鞏固香港作為主要郵輪中心的地位。該設計

包含連貫一樓至頂層之綠化景觀平台。橫跨42米寬無柱的格局使空間

使用率最大化,以安排各種佈局。郵輪碼頭大樓採用了可持續發展設計,

不僅低能源損耗,還可保障建築物長期和持續的效能。採用了與節能、

使用再生能源和資源循環再用等相關綠色環保功能。

除了機械通風系統外,嘉福被指定為負責所有機電服務的設計、供應、

安裝、測試與投入使用。

建築資訊的模型建構

為了最大程度利用該建築,形成主結構的橫樑被用來安置多根連接不同

建築的管道和輸送管。這項目廣泛使用了建築信息模擬(BIM)技術,

以便讓結構設計與機電方案互相配合。

HONG KONG JOCKEY CLUB RENOVATION 2011 - 2015 | Client: The Hong Kong Jockey Club

In 2011, the Hong Kong Jockey Club launched its Racecourse

Master Plan programme of redevelopment and renovation to

transform ageing racecourse facilities into a new generation of

venues for a wider customer base, with an image in keeping with

the excitement, social entertainment and sporting spectacle of a

Hong Kong race meeting. 

BYME was awarded a 4-year term contract for E&M installations

at both Happy Valley and Sha Tin Racecourses. The works consist

of site survey, design, co-ordination, installation, renovation,

retrofitting and testing and commissioning for all E&M trades in

different phases.

In addition, BYME was also chosen by the client for two major

air-conditioning infrastructure upgrades in Sha Tin and the

replacement of the floodlighting at both racecourses with an

energy efficient and digitally controlled system.

Seasonal Access

Every summer, BYME must carry out a huge amount of works

on a very fast-track programme so that the venues are fully

operational when the new racing season starts in September.

This particular constraint requires very meticulous planning and

co-ordination from the teams on-site.

2011年,香港賽馬會推出新的馬場發展大綱,以便更新和重建,將老化

的馬場轉變為新一代的設施,吸引更多客源,並打造賽馬活動為刺激運動

和社會娛樂的全新形象。

嘉福爭取了為期四年的合約,負責在跑馬地與沙田馬場安裝機電設施。

工作內容包括所有機電項目的預檢、設計、協調、安裝、設備更新、測試

以及投入使用。此外,客戶也選中由嘉福來升級沙田馬場的主要中央冷

凝基礎設施,並將兩處馬場的草地燈光照明更換為更具能源效益的

裝備,還加上了數碼控制系統。

季節性大量工作

每到夏季,嘉福就必須以極快速方式執行大量的工程,使兩個馬場能夠

在九月新賽季開始時完全投入營運。這種特殊限制要求我們進行一絲

不苟的計劃,並且和馬場工作團隊進行協調。

TRADE AND INDUSTRY TOWER2012 - 2015 | Client: Architectural Services Department,

Hong Kong Government

The Trade and Industry Tower complex, part of the Kai Tak

Development Area, consists in a 21-storey office tower located

adjacent to a 2-storey community hall. The tower houses a

government bureau and a number of government departments.

Heavy emphasis was placed on energy conservation and greening.

A series of renewable energy technologies, including a photovoltaic

system, solar hot water system, solar chimney and daylight sun

tubes were incorporated.

In terms of recycling and other environmental features, the project

uses rainwater for landscape irrigation and features an automatic

refuse collection system. The building is also connected to the

Kai Tak District Cooling System for air-conditioning. BYME was

responsible for design, supply, installation and T&C of all E&M

services excluding MVAC.

Green Certified

Thanks to the implementation of numerous energy conservation

measures, the Trade and Industry Tower has achieved the most

stringent local and international environmental certifications

for buildings: the BEAM Plus Platinum and LEED Platinum

certifications from the Hong Kong Green Building Council and

U.S. Green Building Council.

工業貿易大樓2012 - 2015 | 客戶: 香港政府建築署

工業貿易大樓複合建築是啟德發展區計畫的一部份,包含一棟21層辦公

大樓,以及與其鄰接的2層社區會堂。大樓內設有一個決策局和多個政府

部門。設計上非常強調節能環保,裝設了各種可再生能源科技,包括

光伏系統、太陽能熱水系統、太陽能煙囪以及日光導管。為了達成資源

循環利用以及其他環保功能,該項目使用雨水灌溉花園園景,並具備

Digital Realty, the world’s largest data centre solutions provider, entrusted BYME for the delivery

of the second phase of its 18,000-square-metre Uptime Institute Tier III-certified purpose-built data

centre located in Tseung Kwan O Industrial Estate. The works consisted of the construction of two

new data hall suites and their associated plant rooms. BYME delivered the project on a fast-track

programme and to high quality standards, ensuring the client’s satisfaction.

BYME conducted the project in partnership with Bouygues Energies & Services, leveraging on its sister

company’s technical expertise, which was acquired through many successful data centre projects in Europe.
