WELCOME MESSAGE On behalf of the Organizing and Program Committees, we cordially invite you to the 10th International Conference on Information and Communication Technology (ICoICT) 2022, which held on August 2-3, 2022. The 10 th ICoICT 2022 is co-organized by Telkom University Indonesia, Multimedia University Malaysia, and Universitas Gadjah Mada Indonesia, in collaboration with the IEEE Indonesia Section and IEEE Signal Processing Society Chapter. Previous ICoICT conferences have successfully acted as a venue for bringing together a varied group of people from academia and industry to exchange and present the most recent challenges and advancements in information and communication technology (ICT). Papers from the preceding ICoICT 2013 - 2021 have been published in IEEE Xplore and are indexed in Scopus. The technical agenda for the 10th ICoICT 2022 includes five keynotes, three tutorials, and 16 parallel sessions of 5 tracks on "Intelligent and Autonomous E-services toward a Hybrid Interaction Era". In this event, a competition for the Best Paper Award is organized. The 10 th ICoICT 2022 had 190 paper submissions from 18 nations, of which 78 were accepted - a 41.3% of acceptance rate. All submitted papers have through a rigorous peer-review procedure that assesses their importance, originality, and technical excellence. At least three professional reviewers independently examined each paper. The 10 th International Conference on Information and Communication Technology (ICoICT) 2022 is conducted virtually from the Telkom University campus. The organizing team has labored diligently to design a virtual conference that will be beneficial and interesting for both presenters and attendees. The entire conference format combines pre-recorded and asynchronous participation with Question-and-Answer (Q&A) and live video conversations. Colleagues, friends, and organizations have collaborated to arrange the 10th ICoICT 2022 conference. We would like to thank everyone who has participated and supported our efforts in a variety of ways, as well as everyone who helped make this event feasible and successful. My work is highly interdisciplinary, with active collaborative links with clinicians, health scientists, economists and ethicists. My research is empirical and industry-informed, with collaborative projects with organisations such as Rolls-Royce, NASA, Jaguar Land Rover and NHS Digital. I have led/co-led research programmes

funded by the EPSRC, the Royal Academy of Engineering, the EU and industry. I have been a member of several international and national safety standardisation committees (e.g. DO178C, MISRA and BSI). I mainly teach on York’s postgraduate programmes in Safety-Critical Systems Engineering and supervises several PhD students (including practising engineers).

Title: A Principle-based Ethical Assurance Argument for AI and Autonomous Systems

Abstract Assurance cases are arguments, supported by evidence, that are typically used by safety teams to establish and communicate confidence in a system’s safety properties. One emerging proposal within the ‘trustworthy’ or ‘responsible’ AI/AS research community is to extend the tool of assurance cases to a much broader range of ethical and normative properties, such as respect for human autonomy and fairness. This looks to be a promising method to achieve justified confidence that a system’s use in its intended context will be ethically acceptable. We aim to bring the idea of ethical assurance arguments to life. First, we ground the enterprise of ethical assurance in four ethical principles, adapted from biomedical ethics. Second, we propose the approach of using assurance cases to translate these ethical principles into practice. Third, we provide a worked example of a principled ethical assurance argument pattern, presented graphically in Goal Structuring Notation.

Title: Anomalies and Cybersecurity - blessing or curse Abstract: Anomaly detection is one of the key elements in the area of ensuring the security of modern IT

systems. As no IT system can be 100% secure, early detection of attacks is an important issue.

Particularly important in this is the task of detecting unknown, previously unrecorded attacks.

It is in this context that the approach to the construction of security incident detection systems

using anomaly detection methods plays a significant role. Anomalies do not only occur in IT

systems but a few basic common features can be identified, which allow this approach to be

used in a systematic way in the chosen area of application. Recent research shows the particular

usefulness of methods and algorithms from the classes of machine learning and artificial

intelligence for the ability to effectively detect anomalies and diagnose the security of

information systems. In addition to the undoubted advantages of using anomaly detection

approaches for system security, it is also necessary to consider the problems associated with

this approach. The main difficulties in achieving full success in the use of anomaly detection

methods for cyber security include the difficulty of defining a normal state, the difficulty of

establishing a decision threshold, or the natural variability of the monitored environment.

Title: Pose Estimation-based Human Gait Analysis

Abstract Our research aims to recognize human physical activity using a pose estimation technique. Conceptually, pose estimation is a technique to detect important points (hereinafter referred to as key-joints) that can describe a person's orientation and movement using machine-vision technique. The proposed solution is cost-saving and able to perform human activity-related assessment from a distance without distracting the object. By connecting the key-joints, a virtual body skeleton can be made to describe the pose and movement of the human body. Further, pose estimation using machine vision techniques can be used to analyse human activities, such as to obtain walking patterns (gait patterns). Pose estimation on walking patterns can recognize kinematic characteristics (key-joint kinematics and movement) of human gait. The transformation of key-joints on the camera frame into gait signals is used in our research to generate angular movement of the gait features. Parameters like turning transition period and freeze of gait period are automatically annotated from the Hilbert-Huang spectrum of gait signals. A turning transition is used to observe a person's kinematic ability to change the direction of walking, while a freeze of gait indicates the absence of episodic forward movement despite the intention to walk. The benefits of our pose estimation-based gait analysis are that we can extract relevant human gait parameters that can be used to identify neurodegenerative disorders like Parkinson’s disease, for monitoring elderly people by visually recognizing walking patterns so that it can be used to detect early instability or abnormal walking patterns, or even further, it can be used for emergency response if something dangerous happens, such as a fall detection.

Title: Predicting Secondary Structure of Protein Using Hybrid of Convolutional Neural Network and Support Vector Machine Abstract Protein secondary structure prediction is one of the problems in the Bioinformatics field, which conducted to find the function of proteins. Protein secondary structure prediction is done by classifying each sequence of protein primary structure into the sequence of protein secondary structure, which fall in sequence labelling problems and can be solved with the machine learning. Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) and Support Vector Machine (SVM) are 2 methods that often used to solve classification problems. In this research, we proposed a hybrid of 1-Dimensional CNN and SVM to predict the secondary structure of the protein. In this research, we used a novel hybrid 1-Dimensional CNN and SVM for sequence labelling, specifically to predict the secondary structure of the protein. Our hybrid model managed to outperform previous studies in term of Q3 and Q8 accuracy on CB513 dataset.
