In order to provide up-to-date information and a comprehensive point of view on modern computing acronyms, the author consulted a number of books, articles and webpages. The following list of the most frequently used references is just the lip of that iceberg, considering only those references used 10 or more times, or in some cases directly referenced in the texl. Also, there are several reference books and articles which could help more familiar readers to gain a deeper view of the subject of interesl. Other approaches would result in either no references at all (the practice in most dictionaries) or in thousands of references (maybe longer than the main body of the book). The given approach , together with the referenced webpages and RFCs in the book, will give readers enough options to find more information.
