WHEREAS by "The Metropolitan Water Supply, Sew-erage, and Drainage Act, 1909," it is provided that theGovernor may, by proclamation, constitute and definethe boundaries of any Water Reserve or Catchment Areafor the purposes of the said Act, and may vest such Re-serve or Catchment Area in the Minister: And whereasthe Governor did by proclamation dated the 5th day ofJuly, 1916, and published in the Government Gazette ofthe 14th day of July, 1916, constitute and define thearea described in the schedule annexed to the said pro-clamation a Water Reserve, and vested the said Reservein the Minister of Water Supply, Sewerage, and Drain-age: And whereas it is desirable that the said proclama-tion be repealed and a fresh proclamation and schedulebe issued therefor: Now therefore I, the said Governor,with the advice and consent of the Executive Council,do hereby repeal the proclamation dated the 5th day ofJuly, 1916, and hereby constitute the area described inthe schedule annexed hereto, with the boundaries astherein defined, a Water Reserve for the purposes of"The Metropolitan Water Supply, Sewerage, and Drain-age Act, 1909," in substitution of the area proclaimedon the 5th day of July, 1916, and do hereby vest thesaid Water" Reserve in the Minister of 'Wtter Supply,Sewerage, and Drainage.

The Land Act, 1898.

No. 1914/19.WHEREAS by Section 42 of " The 'Land Act, 1898,"it is made lawful for the Governor to direct that anyReserve shall vest in and be held by any Municipality,Road Board, or other person or persons to be named inthe order, , in trust for any of the purposes set forth inSection 39 of the said Act, or for the like or other pub-lic purposes to be specified in such order : And whereasit is deemed expedient that Reserve No. 1.7226 (atVoting) should vest in and be held by Messrs. Charles0. Bland, George Wihnshurst, Dugald Macdonald, andHarold G. Langsford, in trust for the purpose of anA.gricultural Hall Site: Now, therefore, His Excellencythe Governor, by and with the advice and consent of . theExecutive Council, doth hereby direct that the before-mentioned Reserve shall vest in and be held by Messrs.Charles 0. Bland, George Wilmshurst, Dugald Mac-donald, and Harold G. Langsford, in trust for the pur-pose aforesaid; subject, nevertheless, to the powers re-served to him by Section 41 of the said Act.

WHEREAS the enactment contained in Section 74 of"The Constitution Act, 1889," whereby the appoint-ment of all Public Officers under the Government of thoState is vested in the Governor in Council, does notapply to minor appointments which by Order in Councilare vested in Heads of Departments or other officers orpersons within the State; and whereas it. is desirablethat the appointment of foremen and all other personsemployed at a daily rate of wage on works under thecontrol of the Public Works and Trading Concerns andWater Supply, Sewerage, and Drainage Departments,exclusive of the Metropolitan Water Supply, Sewerage,and Drainage Department, should be vested in the sev-eral officers 'whose names are set out in the attachedschedule: Now, therefore, His Excellency the Govermir,by and with the advice of the Executive Council, herebyvests in the several officers enumerated in the attachedschedule, and any person or :persons appointed to tem-porarily act in the place of any of such officer, the ap-pointment of foremen and all persons employed on suchworks at a daily rate of 'wages.

Water Boards Act, 1904.Narrogin Water Board.ORDER IN COUNCIL.

P.W., W.S. 325/23.WHEREAS by "The Water Boards Act, 1904," it isprovided that before undertaking the construction ofwater works, the Minister shall submit plans, descrip-tions, books of reference, and estimates of the proposedworks to the Governor for approval ; and that if theyare approved, the Governor may forthwith, by Order inCouncil, empower the Minister to undertake the con-struction of the proposed works: Now, therefore, HisExcellency the Governor, with the advice of the !Execu-tive Council, hereby approves of the plans, descriptions,books of reference, and estimates marked P.W D., W.A.,22601, for the construction of water works within theNarrogiu Water Area, which were duly submitted forapproval, and hereby empowers the Minister for WaterSupply, Sewerage, and Drainage to undertake the con-struction of the said works.


Vermin, Act, 1918.ORDER IN COUNCIL.

No. 2966/19.WHEREAS it is desirable to amend the Vermin ActRegulations, 1919, in order to regulate the payment ofbonuses for the deStruction of Emus: Now, therefore,His Excellency the Governor Cloth hereby, with the ad-vice and -consent of the Executive Council, order thatthe new Regulation set out hereunder be inserted in thesaid Regulations after Regulation 93:

the destruction of any EMU unless the approval of theChief Inspector appointed under "The Vermin Act,1918," and of the Minister' charged with the adminis-tration of "The Game Act, 1912-13," be first obtained.

(2) Any such approval may be in general terms ormay refer to any particular case or cases.

NOTICE OF SALE.

WHEREAS the Council of the Municipality of Bunbury has certified that, under the provisions of " The Municipal CorporationsAct, 1906," the sums mentioned in the sixth column of the Schedule hereto attached are now severally due and unpaidby the re-spective persons whose names appear in the fifth column of the Schedule opposite such sums as occupiers of the land whereof,firstly the situation, secondly the area, thirdly the Volume and Folio of the Title Certificate or Crown Grant, and fourthly thename of the registered proprietor as set forth in the first, second, and third and fourth columns of the Schedule opposite thesame sums or, where no name appears in the fifth column, are now severally due and unpaid by the respective persons namedin the fourth column opposite the same sums as owners, which said several sums are arrears of rates and interest due tosuch Council in respect of such lands ; and whereas such Council has required me, after the expiration of three months fromthe date hereof, to issue my warrants of execution against such lands unless the moneys mentioned in the said Scheduleare sooner paid.
