Well, hellooooo there, You Lucky Son (or Daughter) of a gun!
You are loved and cared for more than you could ever know because you're one of the lucky few who gets to feast their eyeballs on this pre-release version of The signature #MoneyMaking Copy Sales Page Workbook! It's part of The #MoneyMaking Copy series by yours truly!!
Use this workbook to outline the first draft of your super sexy and serendipitously delicious sales page!
Wondering what all the pretty purple confetti masquerading as instructions are all about? Well, the purple text is there to act as your guide ‘til you’re absolutely ready to hit publish and post this to your website.
If you leave it in ’til you’re happy with the words on this page then you’ll stay on track! If you delete the purple text prematurely you might #faceplant in the middle of your writing process at which point you may experience a malfunction and find yourself at the edge of your seat gripping your blinged out mouse screaming:
"abort mission, abort mission!"
Phew, I'm sweating at the mere thought of it! We don’t want that now, do we? Ok, so just follow the template ok?
NOTE: You’re gonna see “Now it’s your turn” (+ some lines) sprinkled throughout this template! That’s where you’re supposed to type in your own text! Just delete the lines and slide your own compelling (as all hell) prose right in there!
Because you are an exclusive brand offering a premium service, you’re probably selling something at a high price point! Soooooo… my opinion (backed by science) is that you need to create what (us) industry insiders refer to as a long form sales page.
Yes it might feel really long- well ‘cause it is. And yes, some concepts/sections are repeated - that’s on purpose! And, yes - you’re meant to rewrite that info in a different, unique, fresh way a few times throughout this doc.

Here’s the deal. There’s a formula to this (it’s like 50 bajillion years old so it’s been tested, you can thank the Greeks)! So: a recap? Successful copy follows a formula, and better yet - Successful Sales Copy SELLS. First you follow, then you lead, then you SELL!

2. The Hook Hook them with a paragraph that uses the rule of thirds! Lists, statements, or ideas are more powerful when they are presented as a list of three items! So write:
Three descriptive sentences that describe the position your ideal client is in now OR, paints the picture of what they wish their life was like.

3. The Ampli<ier Now it’s time to dig into their pain and paint a picture that’s the exact opposite of what you described above. It’s about exposing the gap between your client now and your client in the future!
So if you chose to speak to their current struggles now it’s time to talk about what life could be like, it’s about uncovering the dream and showing the potential!
OR,
If you wrote a flowery picture (like I did about money, gifts, passions, clients, freedom, and impact) now it’s time to let her down, HARD and tell her what she’s missing now. (Sounds harsh, but I promise it’s for her own good. The harsher the better - but only for a second!)
Remember the rule of 3’s… I know it’s tempting to keep listing more and more pain points/future visions - but psychologically three’s enough - I promise!

To get there, you need to:
● ditch the starving artist mentality and quit undercharging!
● get crystal clear on what you offer and make sizzling hot packages
● Be fearless so you can put yourself out there in a really big way!
We spoke to the pain points above - how many of us have been guilty-as-charged of not owning our worth? Wishing you could streamline your processes but have no sexy package - yeah I’ve been there! And fear… most of us coaches, writers, and creatives have so much to share but we have so many blocks around getting ourselves out there.
Brainstorm the things your ICA is struggling with, describe them in a bulleted list, table, or paragraph. Don’t forget that three’s company! No less than three, no more than three - three is the magic number of statements!

4. Reassurance Now, before she goes spiraling into a deep depression give her some love! Take her hand and give it a reassuring squeeze. Let her know she doesn’t have to tackle this all on her own - you are here!
YOU CAN help!
List the 3 types of people who fit your Dream Client Profile then let them know you were born for them, so no matter how hopeless she may feel, you can help her!
Start the sentence with one of the following: ■ the trouble is, ■ the only thing stopping you is, ■ the reality is, ■ I know that right now you’re struggling with ■ no Matter if….
Starting the sentence with something similar to the 5 examples above jolts her back to reality - trust me - just do it!

5. Intro + Why The Heck Should We Choose You?
Now it’s time to tell a story to illustrate why you’re the big cheese, head honcho, queen of the galaxy (or whatever else you claim!). What makes you the one who can help us solve our issues by telling us about your (background, education, experience, etc., in a way that shows you are an authority who has status and is credible.
Include:
❏ Who you are - name, title, and who you help
❏ What do you do?
❏ Why you do it?
❏ Why should we listen to you?
❏ What makes you an expert?
❏ What was your journey and how did you overcome any obstacles?

and sold a 6-figure online business and enjoyed tremendous success as an
online fitness coach. I teach business building, brand-identity, and online marketing

It may feel like your clothes don’t quite fit as you’re talking about yourself like this. Buuuut if you’ve got a story to tell, share it - that’s what’ll connect you to your ideal clients! (I know Carolin covered this with you early on!)
Share your why and show us you’ve been there (in our sticky, soggy, cramped shoes). The point is to take your reader on a journey. I know it may feel unnatural to go on and on about yourself, but part of the reason we raise our hands screaming pick me, pick me, and take part in mentorship programs like the one you’re in is because we are ready to say yes to ourselves! Break out of your comfort zone. You know you’re here because you’re ready. SHOW UP. QUIT PLAYING SMALL. AND SHINE. (Oh + make money, my personal motto is: Spread Love, Make Money™ - it’s not about the money, it’s about the freedom the money affords us!)

6. Offer, Offer -‐ Who’s Got An Offer? Alright now honey, you’re killin’ it and making great progress! Next you wanna introduce your offer, offer, offer! This is the meat (or Tofurky) and potatoes of your sales page!
Remember that core value proposition? The one we mentioned at the top.. yeah bust that sucker out again!

13.Bonuses Baby! People love FREE ish! I mean like love, love, love! They imagine that if you are offering bonuses they are getting a crapload of stuff for FREE. In reality the stuff isn’t really free. I mean come on, you’ve put a ton of time and resources into this so it’s your time and maybe even money. But if you’ve got resources that are already ready to go, you can include them here.
Think in terms of resources like pdf’s, workbooks, worksheets, audios, never-seen-before videos, access to a joint venture partner’s mini-course, etc.!
Bonuses serve one purpose. They freaking up the ante (i.e. the psychological perception of value). Use a smart little subheader then go deeper to explain why you’re offering the bonuses as well as what you’re including. You get extra points for calculating the value.

14. You’re The Wo(Man)! Now tell us how freaking ah-mazing you are! Make it freaking compelling and do some humble (or not so humble) bragging! Think about how you would describe yourself to a potential boyfriend or girlfriend! You present your BEST SELF. Here I bragged about how Carolin has a real-life MBA, not an online credential, not a certificate, but an MBA. Those 3 letters stand out and mean something of significance throughout the whole world! She has also spent 22k on her business and she enjoys a 6-figure income. It’s a freaking no brainer to work with her. So I ask you: What the heck are you waiting for? By taunting the reader and questioning whether they are serious, I took advantage of the fact that no one wants to admit to being a loser who doesn’t care about their their future!

15. Press My Buttons! Now it’s time for your FIRST BUTTON. By now some people may be ready to just hit BUY! Or, if they’re visiting the page for the second, third, or 20-millionth time, by now they might finally be ready to get on with it!
Insert your first >> Call To Action BUTTON << and it should lead your client out to paypal, ruzuku, typeform, etc., where they can pay or complete an app so they can qualify to be your biz bff.
BE CREATIVE HERE! Seriously, don’t do the typical “sign up here,” or whatever else you see around.

16. Pick Me, Pick Me! OK, now you have done the work to select your Ideal Customer. That’s the person who’s your #dreamclient that you’ve got a #clientcrush on!
Let people SELF SELECT! And those who aren’t a good fit will read this language and slink away!
Speak your dream client’s language, think of their hopes, fears, etc.
I always ask my clients: what kind of people do you NOT like working with? Then list them. Then the people you do love working with show up pretty easily.
Make this list into two columns (use a table). Think about You’re ready for xyz if, OR You’re probably not ready if. I like to get creative with these headers. But this is the basic.

17.Give Me The Deets! A. This can be an entire paragraph or a series of paragraphs to let them know

18.Ring Ring Doors Are Closing A. Remind them when your course enrollment closes. Yes, I know you already
mentioned this! Yes, I do mean to mention it again. There is a reason for this. People are scanners so at times they might have missed something important like the CLOSING date! Let’s tell them when doors close down to the exact minute!

19.The Crossroads Remind them that they’ve been here before… at the crossroads and they really need to stand up this time!
Be persuasive and compelling - a picture of their dream life. Language like: If you’re really serious about, If you’re done standing on the sidelines, If you won’t sit back for another day, If you finally want to (insert lose weight, start your business, grow your business, save your marriage, leave your day job, be a better parent)
It might feel a bit negative or harsh - well this is a serious reality check - it’s called tough love and since you’re here to help people you have to meet them where they are and take them on the journey!

20. The A’s To Your Q’s (Faq) NOW… it’s time to meet the objections! As people read your sales page they are gonna be thinking all sorts of stuff and coming up with all types of excuses why they can’t, shouldn’t or won’t sign up to BUY YOUR THING!
So… let’s bust those right now and encourage them to hit “I WANT MORE OF YOU” or whatever your awesomely branded button will say my sweets!
Feelin’ stuck? Heck - no worries. No need to reinvent the wheel. You can do a couple of things here.
A. Facebook - Spy on your ICA on Facebook - examine how they explain their issues. They might make mention of why they are scared to hire a coach, can’t commit to weight loss, or haven’t hired a copywriter yet. Create a google doc or evernote doc and paste those suckers in whenever you encounter them! This is COPY gold!
B. The Internet in General - Spy on your ICA on blogs, forums, YouTube, or anywhere else. Facebook is my number one but these others will do!
C. Shop where she shops - Spy on your ICA on Amazon.com or other stores with tons of reviews - scan the reviews related to your product. People express themselves brilliantly when they feel unfiltered.
D. Real life interviews on skype, in person, etc. - You’ll find that it might be easy to get your ICA on the phone! JUST ASK them!
NOTE: I should probably tell you that you should be doing this kind of spying all the time, not just for this exercise. This is an insider secret that sets mediocre copywriters apart from the really good ones - we do our research!
