The jobs and responsibilities that they hold within the port Authority are extremely varied. Among other things the port Authority manages and maintains the docks, bridges, locks, quays and backquays. it is also responsible for smooth, efficient and safe movements of shipping within the port area. its members of personnel operate tugs, cranes and dredgers, and carry out promotion in belgium and around the world.
