• Antisense Oligonucleotides (ASO), siRNA and TherapeuticProteins hold a major promise for improvement of medical care.

Apo-Si Properties- based on studies in vitro, performed to date

• Low-molecular weight, rationally-designed, compact Molecular Nano-Motors, attached to either a 29-base ssDNA, or to a 29-base pairs dsDNA, namely carrying 29 or 58 negative electric charges, have been shown to perform efficient delivery across hydrophobic cell membranes.

• Successful delivery to nearly all cells in vitro.

• Efficient delivery, achieved at low concentrations (nM range).

• The conjugates are water-soluble.

• January 2015: Tekmira acquired OnCore Biopharma, in a $400M deal.
