Landscapes and cityscapes
Landscapes and cityscapes show environments rather than objects.
A landscape shows a natural environment.
A cityscape shows a man-made, urban environment.
Good landscapes and cityscapes do not just show the objects in an environment – they give an impression of the atmosphere of a place.
Composition is very important in creating a successful piece.
