4. सेप्टेभ–09 / STA–B ववऻाऩन के र्रए ऩय ऺा र्हय कौन कौन से है ? What are the cities of examination of CEPTAM-09/STA-B Advt.?

र्हयों की सम्ऩणूि सचूी के र्रए कृऩमा ववऻाऩन के Sec-3 A सॊिबि को िेख े। उम्भीिवायों को सराह ि जािी है की ट मय-I के र्रए ककन्ह िीन र्बन्न ऩय ऺा र्हय की वय मिा, र्हय सचूी भे से चुने । एक फाय ि गमी वय मिा को अॊतिभ भाना जाएगा िथा उस ेफिरा नह ॊ जा सकिा । वय मिा क्रभ भे ऩरयवििन के र्रए अनयुोध ऩय ककसी बी ऩरयक्स्थति / कायण भें ववचाय नह ॊ ककमा जाएगा । सेप्टेभ, सॊगठात्भक अवश्मकिा अनसुाय ऩय ऺा र्हय को हटाने / जोड़ने िथा उम्भीिवाय को कोई बी ऩय ऺा र्हय आफॊदटि कयने का अधधकाय यखिा है । ट मय-II ऩय ऺा के र्रए ऩय ऺा र्हय चुनने की आवश्मकिा / जरूयि नह ॊ है । सेप्टेभ इसके र्रए ऩय ऺा र्हय प्रकक्रमात्भक फाध्मिा अनसुाय तनधािरयि कयेगा । Please refer section-3 (A) in the advertisement for complete list of cities. will be entertained. CEPTAM reserves the right to add/delete any examination city and allot the candidates

to any examination city other than chosen by candidate depending upon the operational constraints. No

Choice for city is required to be given by the candidate for Tier-II examination. Examination cities for the

same will be decided by the CEPTAM based on the operational requirement.

5. सेप्टेभ-09/STA-B ऩय ऺा का िामया / ऩाठ्मक्रभ क्मा है ? What is the Scope/ Syllabus for CEPTAM-09/STA-B Examination?

ऩय ऺा का ऩाठ्मक्रभ ववऻाऩन के अनबुाग 1.2 िथा अनबुाग 4 भे टेफर 1 के अनसुाय िथा अतनवामि मोग्मिा के अनरुूऩ होगा । The Syllabus of the examination will be commensurate to essential qualification required for the post as per

section-1.2 and Table 1 in section-4 of advertisement.

7. सेप्टेभ-09 / STA-B ऩय ऺा के र्रए चमन प्रकक्रमा क्मा होगी ? What is the selection process of CEPTAM-09/STA-B Examination?

चमन प्रकक्रमा भें िो ट मय ऩय ऺा ट मय-I एॊव ट मय-II एॊव प्रायक्म्बक िस्िावेज़ सत्माऩन र्ार्भर है । िोनों ऩय ऺा (ट मय-I एॊव ट मय-II) कम्प्मटुय फेस्ड टेस्ट (CBT) होगी । ट मय-I ऩय ऺा र्सपि छॊटनी के र्रए र्रए है औय ट मय-2 ऩय ऺा अनॊतिभ चमन के र्रए है । सवोत्तभ प्रथाओॊ के अनसुाय अॊक साभान्मीकृि ककए जाएॉगे । न्मनूिभ मोग्मिा अॊक ट मय-I भें अनायक्षऺि / अन्म वऩछड़ा वगि के उम्भीिवायों के र्रए 40% िथा अनसुधूचि जाति / अनसुधूचि जनजाति के उम्भेिवायों के र्रए 35% हैं । उम्भीिवायों का प्रवाधधक चमन ट मय-I ऩय ऺा की भेरयट के 1:10 अनऩुाि भें (कुर रयक्ि ऩि : कुर चमतनि उम्भीिवाय) के अनसुाय होगा। हाराॊकक मह अनऩुाि सॊगठनात्भक आवश्मकिा के अनसुाय फढ़ बी सकिा है । इन चमतनि उम्भीिवायों को ट मय-II ऩय ऺा भें फरुामा जाएगा । अधधक जानकाय के र्रए ववऻाऩन के section-4 का सॊिबि रें । The selection process will consist of two tier examinations: Tier-I, Tier-II & preliminary document

verification. Both the tests (Tier-I& Tier-II test) will be computer based test. Tier-I examination is for

screening only and Tier-II examination is for provisional selection. The marks will be normalised as per best

practises. The minimum qualifying marks for Tier-I is 40% for UR/OBC candidate and 35% for SC/ST

candidates. Candidates will be provisionally shortlisted based on Tier-I examination merit in a ratio of 1: 10

(No. of vacancy: No. of shortlisted candidates) provided they secure the minimum qualifying marks in

examination. However this ratio may increase depending upon organizational requirements. Last candidate

securing equal marks in the bracket will also be included. These shortlisted candidates will be called for

Tier-II examination. Please refer section 4 in advertisement for more details.

9. क्मा सबी अन्म वऩछड़ा िगग उम्भीदिाय आयऺण ऩाने के लरए मोग्म है ?

Are all OBC candidates eligible for seeking reservation?

जो उम्भीिवाय अन्म वऩछड़ा वगि - नॉन क्रीभी रेमय (कें द्र सयकाय की सचूी भें) के अॊिगिि आि े है, वो उम्भीिवाय आयऺण ऩाने के र्रए मोग्म हैं। Candidate who belongs to the OBC Non-Creamy Layer (Under Central Govt. List) are eligible to seek

reservation benefits.

10. इस ऩयीऺा के लरए आम ुसीभा एिॊ आम ुछुट क्मा है ? What are the age limits and age relaxations for this examination?

उम्भीिवाय को भहत्वऩणूि िाय ख ऩय तनधािरयि आम ु सीभा के अॊिगिि आना चादहए । हाराॊकक अनसुधूचि जाति, अनसुधूचि जनजाति, अन्म वऩछड़ा वगि – नॉन क्रीभी रेमय, दिवमाॊगजन, ESM, कें द्र सयकाय के र्सववर कभिचाय , दिवमाॊग यऺा सेवा कभी, जम्भ ूकश्भीय के भरू तनवासी (01-01-1980 से 31-12-1980 के िौयान) को बायि सयकाय द्वाया तनधािरयि तनमभों के अनसुाय अधधकिभ आम ुसीभा भें छूट के ऩात्र है । अनायक्षऺि रयक्ि ऩिों के र्रए आवेिन कयने वारे अनसुधूचि जाति, अनसुधूचि जनजाति, अन्म वऩछड़ा वगि – नॉन क्रीभी रेमय के उम्भीिवायों को आम ुसीभा भें छुट की अनभुति नह ॊ ि जाएगी । अनायक्षऺि रयक्ि ऩिों के र्रए आवेिन कयने वारे दिवमाॊगजन, ESM, कें द्र सयकाय के र्सववर कभिचाय , दिवमाॊग यऺा सेवा कभी, जम्भ ूकश्भीय के भरू तनवासी (01-01-1980 से 31-12-1980 के िौयान) उम्भीिवायों को र्सपि अऩने वगि की आम ुसीभा भें छूट का राब र्भरेगा िथा अनसुधूचि जाति, अनसुधूचि जनजाति, अन्म वऩछड़ा वगि होने के कायण अन्म अतिरयक्ि छूट नह ॊ ि जाएगी। The candidate must be within prescribed age limit as on the crucial date. However, upper age limit is

relaxable for SC, ST, OBC-NCL, PWD, ESM, Central Govt. Civilian Employee, Disabled Defence Services Personnel, Persons domiciled in Jammu & Kashmir state (during the period from 01-01-1980 to 31-

12-1989) as per the rules prescribed by the Government of India. No age relaxation is allowed to

SC/ST/OBC-NCL candidates applying against unreserved (UR) vacancies. Candidates belonging to PWD ,

ESM, Central Government civilian Employee, Disabled Defence Services Personnel, Persons domiciled in

Jammu & Kashmir state (during the period from 01-01-1980 to 31-12-1989) categories , who are applying

against UR vacancies will get age relaxation benefit only for their respective category as above and no

additional relaxation will be given for belonging to SC/ST/OBC Category.

11. ESM क्मा है? What is ESM?

(I) ESM अथािि बिूऩवूि सतैनक । ESM वह वमक्क्ि होिा है क्जसने बायि सॊघ की तनमर्भि सर्स्त्र सेना, नौसेना औय वाम ुसेना भें ककसी बी ऩि ऩय चाहे मोद्धक मा गयै मोद्धक के रूऩ भें सेवा की है ।

(a) जो ऩेंर्न अक्जिि कयने के ऩश्चाि ऐसी सेवा से चाहे स्वानयुोध ऩय मा तनमोजक द्वाया कामि भकु्ि ककए जाने ऩय, सेवातनवतृ्त, अवभकु्ि मा सेवोनभुकु्ि हो गमा / गमी है मा

(b) क्जसे सतैनक सेवा के कायण धचककत्सा आधाय ऩय अथवा उसके तनमॊत्रण से फाहय की ऩरयक्स्थतिमों के कायण ऐसी सतैनक सेवा से कामिभकु्ि ककमा गमा हो औय क्जसे धचककत्सा अथवा अन्म तन्र्क्ििा ऩेंर्न ि गमी हो मा

(c) क्जसे सॊस्थाऩना भें कटौिी हो जाने के ऩरयणाभस्वरूऩ ऐसी सेवा स ेभकु्ि ककमा गमा हो

(III) सनै्म डाक सेवा के ऐसे कार्भिक जो तनमर्भि सेना के बाग हैं औय जो सनै्म डाक सेवा से ऩेंर्न सदहि अऩनी भरू सेवा भें प्रतिवििन के बफना सनै्म डाक से सेवातनविृ हुए हैं मा क्जन्हे सतैनक सेवा के कायण मा सतैनक सेवा की वजह से गरुुत्तय होने के कायण धचककत्सीम आधाय ऩय मा उसके तनमॊत्रण स े फाहय की ऩरयक्स्थतिमों के कायण सतैनक डाक सेवा से कामिभकु्ि ककमा गमा हो ।

(IV) ऐसा कार्भिक जो 14 अप्ररै, 1987 से ऩवूि छ: भह ने से अधधक की अवधध से सनै्म डाक से प्रतितनमकु्क्ि ऩय हो

(V) सर्स्त्र फरों के, क्जसके अॊिगिि प्रािेर्र्क सेना के कार्भिक बी हैं, वीयिा ऩयुस्काय ववजेिा

(VI) ऐसे बिूऩवूि यॊगरूट, क्जन्हे धचककत्सा आधाय ऩय अर्क्ि होने के कायण प्रथक मा कामिभकु्ि ककमा गमा है औय क्जन्हें धचककत्सा तन्र्क्ि ऩेंर्न ि गमी है ।

(I) ESM stands for Ex-Service Man. ESM is a person who served in any rank whether as combatant or non-combatant in a regular Army, Navy and Air Force of the Indian Union

(a) who either has been retired or relieved or discharged from such service whether at his own request or being relieved by the employer after earning his or her pension; or

(b) who has been relieved from such service on medical grounds attributable to military service or circumstances beyond his control and awarded medical or other disability pension; or

(c) who has been released from such service as a result of reduction in establishment; OR

(II) who has been released from such service after completing the specific period of engagement, otherwise than at his own request or by way of dismissal, or discharge on account of misconduct or inefficiency

and has been given a gratuity and includes personnel of the Territorial Army namely , pension holders

for continuous embodied service or broken spells of qualifying service;

OR

(III) Personnel of Army Postal Service who are part of Regular Army and retired from the Army Postal Service without reversion to their parent service with pension or are released from the Army Postal

Service on medical grounds attributable to or aggravated by military service or circumstances beyond

their control and awarded medical or other disability pension;

OR

(IV) Personnel who were on deputation in Army Postal Service for more than six months prior to 14th April 1987;

OR

(V) Gallantry award winners of the Armed Forces including personnel of Territorial Army; OR

(VI) Ex-recruits boarded out or relieved on medical ground and granted medical disability pension.

12. ददवमाॊगजन क्मा है ? What is Person with disability (PWD)?

उम्भीिवाय, क्जनकी दिवमाॊगिा 40% मा इससे अधधक हो वो दिवमाॊग वगि भें आयऺण / रयमामि ऩाने के र्रए अधधकृि हैं । बायि सयकाय के तनमभों औय आिेर्ों के अनसुाय बिी के उद्िेश्म से दिवमाॊगिा के वगि तनम्नर्रखखि है: Candidates having Disabilities of more than or equal to 40% are eligible for reservation/relaxation for PWD.

Categories of disabilities for the purpose of recruitment as per Govt. of India orders and rules are given

below: CAT A:

(a) blindness and low vision; CAT B:

(b) deaf and hard of hearing; CAT C:

(c) locomotor disability including cerebral palsy, leprosy cured, dwarfism, acid attack victim and muscular dystrophy

CAT D:

(d) Autism, intellectual disability, specific learning disability and mental illness; (e) Multiple disabilities from amongst persons under clause (a) to (d) including deaf-blindness.

13. क्मा ददवमाॊगजन को ऩयीऺा के लरए अततरयक्त सभम लभरता है ? Does PWD candidate get any extra time for examination?

visually impaired/cerebral palsy, orthopedically handicapped उम्भीिवाय क्जन्हें locomotor disability है क्जसके कायण उम्भीिवाय की प्रभखु रेखन ऺभिा को धीभा / प्रबाववि कयिा है (ऐसे िोर् का धचककत्सीम प्रभाणऩत्र उम्भीिवाय द्वाया जभा कयामा जाएगा), उन्हें 20 र्भनट प्रति घण्टे का प्रतिऩयूक सभम दिमा जाएगा । The visually impaired/cerebral palsy, orthopedically handicapped candidates who has a locomotor disability

wherein the dominant writing extremity is affected to the extent of slowing down the performance of the

candidate (such deficiency to be indicated in the medical certificate submitted by the candidate) will be

allowed compensatory time of 20 minutes per hour in the examination.

14. Scribe क्मा है ? Who is a Scribe?

Scribe वह वमक्क्ि होिा है जो प्रश्नों को ऩढ़िा है औय उत्तय को िज़ि कय िेिा है । Scribe is a person who narrate the question and transcribe the answers.

15. दिवमाॊगजनों के scribe के र्रए क्मा दिर्ातनिेर् है ? What are the guidelines for Scribe for PWD candidate?

Scribe ऩय ऺा के र्रए उम्भीिवायों भें से नह ॊ होना चादहए । scribe के र्रए मोग्मिा जैस,े र्कै्षऺक मोग्मिाएॉ, अक्जिि अॊक, उम्र अथवा अन्म फाधाएॉ ककसी बी बिी सॊस्था द्वाया तनक्श्चि नह ॊ हैं । Scribe should not be a candidate for the examination (criteria like educational qualification, marks scored,

age or other such restrictions for the scribe will not be fixed by recruiting bodies).

16. क्मा कोई आयक्षऺि वगि का उम्भीिवाय जो कक अनसुधूचि जाति, अनसुधूचि जनजाति, अन्म वऩछड़ा वगि – नॉन क्रीभी रेमय से हो वह अनायक्षऺि रयक्ि ऩि ऩय चमतनि हो सकिा है ? Can a candidate belonging to one of the reserved categories viz., Scheduled Castes (SC) / Scheduled

Tribes (ST) / Other Backward Classes Non-Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL) be recommended for selection

against an unreserved vacancy?

मदि आयक्षऺि वगि से सॊफक्न्धि उम्भीिवाय का चमन बफना रयमामि भानिॊडो के अऩनी मोग्मिा के आधाय ऩे होिा है िो उस उम्भीिवाय का चमन अनायक्षऺि वगि भें हो सकिा है । A candidate belonging to one of the reserved categories can be recommended against an unreserved vacancy

if he/she is selected on their own merit without relaxed standards.

17. भैं ऩहरे से ही सयकायी / ऩीएसम ू/ स्िामत्त सॊस्थान / सशस्र सेना भें कामगयत हूॉ । भेये लरए आिेदन प्रक्रिमा क्मा होगी ? I am already working in Govt. / PSU / Autonomous organization / Armed Forces. What is the

application procedure for me?

सयकायी / ऩीएसम ू / स्िामत्त सॊस्थान / सशस्र सेना भें कामगयत उम्भीदिायों (विबागीम उम्भीदिायों सदहत) को उचित भाध्मभ द्िाया ही आिेदन कयना होगा । उम्भीदिायों को अऩने ितगभान तनमोक्ता से उऩमकु्त सभम तक अनाऩवत्त प्रभाण ऩर प्राप्त कयना होगा । बफना अनाऩवत्त प्रभाण ऩर प्राप्त के ऑनराइन आिेदन को प्रिाचधक भाना जाएगा । चमतनि होने ऩय, अनाऩवत्त प्रभाणऩत्र अन्म िस्िावेजों के साथ िस्िावजे सत्माऩन के सभम जभा कयवाना होगा। Candidates serving in Govt. / PSU / Autonomous Organizations / Armed Forces including (departmental

candidates) must apply through proper channel. Candidate should obtain NOC from the present employer at

appropriate time. Online submitted applications without NOC will be treated as provisional. NOC must be

submitted along with other documents at the time of document verification, if shortlisted.

18. क्मा भैं आिेदन जभा कयने के फाद अऩने आिेदन भें फदराि कय सकता / सकती हूॉ ? Can I make changes in my application(s) after I have submitted it?

अॊतिभ रूऩ से जभा कयने के फाि आविेन ऩत्र भें फिराव / सधुाय ककसी बी ऩरयक्स्थतिमों भें स्वीकामि नह ॊ होगा । इसर्रए उम्भीिवायों को सराह ि जािी है कक आवेिन को सावधानी ऩवूिक बयें । After final submission, request for change/correction in the particulars given in application form shall not be

entertained under any circumstances. Hence candidates are advised to fill the application form carefully.

19. क्मा CEPTAM-09/STA-B विऻाऩन के आिदेन ऩर बयने के लरए आधाय काडग जरूयी है? Is Aadhaar card mandatory to fill CEPTAM 09/STA-B Advt. application form?

नह ॊ, आविेन ऩत्र बयने के र्रए आधाय काडि होना जरूय नह ॊ है। हाराॊकक उसे अन्म ककसी ऩहचान प्रभाण से सभऺ वय मिा ि जाएगी ।

No, it is not mandatory to possess Aadhaar Card to fill application form. However it is preferred over any

other identity proof.

20. क्मा भैं अऩना ऩयीऺा शहय फदर सकता हूॉ ? नाभ भें फिराव की क्स्थति भें उम्भीिवाय को फिरा हुआ नाभ ह ऑनराइन आवेिन भें िज़ि कयना चादहए । हाराॊकक, अन्म वववयण भेदिक मा सभकऺ प्रभाण ऩत्र के साथ र्भरने चादहए । ऐसे ककसी फिराव मा फिराव के आवेिन की तिधथ ऑनराइन आवेिन जभा कयने की तिधथ से ऩवूि होनी चादहए। In cases of name change, candidates should indicate their changed name only in the ONLINE application.

However, other details should match with the Matriculation or Equivalent certificate. Date of such change

(or) application for such change should be prior to the date of submission of ONLINE application.

23. क्मा भैं अऩना ऩद कोड फदर सकता / सकती हूॉ ? Can I change my Post Code?

आवेिन अॊतिभ रूऩ से जभा कयने के फाि ऩि कोड भें फिराव की अनभुति नह ॊ है । रेककन अॊतिभ सफर्भर्न से ऩहरे आऩ उसे फिर सकि ेहैं । इसर्रए उम्भीिवायों को सावधानी ऩवूिक ऩि कोड चुनने की सराह ि गमी है। No, change in post code is not allowed after final submission of application. But you can change it before

final submission of application. Hence candidates are advised to choose their post code carefully.

24. भैं एक से ज्मादा ऩद कोड के लरए आिेदन कय यहा / यही हूॉ । क्मा प्रत्मेक ऩद कोड के लरए अरग अरग आिदेन कयना अतनिामग है ? I am applying for more than one Post Code. 27. भैं क्रकसी ऩद कोड के लरए अऩने आिेदन की स्स्थतत क्रकस प्रकाय जान सकता / सकती हूॉ ? How can I know the status of my application submitted for a particular post code?

the candidate is required to produce order/letter in this regard indicating the authority (with number and date)

applicants (except those applicants whose applications are summarily rejected), are allowed to appear in the

examination and their eligibility is verified only after the examination. Merely a candidate has been allowed

to appear in the examination (posts for which examination is conducted) or being called for documents

verification will not be considered as a ground for his being eligible for the post(s) applied for. The Original

certificates pertaining to Essential Qualification Requirement (EQR) and other relevant documents will be

examined completely at the time of Document Verification and at the time of joining. If any information is

found wrong regarding eligibility criteria then candidature will be rejected. Candidates are advised to ensure

meeting all eligibility criteria to avoid rejection in future.

39. क्मा ऩय ऺा कम्प्मटुय द्वाया होगी मा OMR द्वाया ? Will the exam be conducted computer based or OMR based?

CEPTAM-09/STA-B ऩय ऺा Computer Based Test (CBT) होगी । Examination for CEPTAM-09/STA-B will be Computer Based Test (CBT) only.

40. क्मा ऩय ऺा द्वीबार्ीम होगी ? Is the exam Bilingual?

हाॉ, ऩय ऺा िो बार्ाओॊ भें उऩरब्ध होगी, जो की अॉग्रजेी एॊव दहन्ि है। Yes, the Exam will be available bilingually, i.e. English and Hindi.

41. क्मा ऩय ऺा भें नकायात्भक अॊकन है ? Is there any negative marking in examination?

Dates will be given at the time of admit card and will be announced on website. 120 Minutes will be given in

Tier-I and 90 Minutes will be given in Tier-II to complete Examination.

44. क्मा फामोभेदिक उऩक्स्थति िजि की जाएगी ? Is there any Bio-metric attendance?

हाॉ, फामोभेदिक उऩक्स्थति िजि होगी। इसके अरावा भनैमुर उऩक्स्थति बी िजि होगी। Yes, there will be Bio metric attendance. Apart from this manual attendance will also be taken.

र्लु्क का बगुिान नेट फैंककॊ ग / डबेफट काडि / के्रडडट काडि / बीभ म ूऩी आई / ऩेट एभ वारेट के भाध्मभ से ककमा जा सकिा है । Fee is to be paid online through Net Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card/BHIM UPI/Paytm wallet.

47. क्मा भैं ऩय ऺा के िौयान अऩने साथ भोफाइर, रऩैटाऩ मा कोई इरके्िातनक उऩकयण र ेजा सकिा / सकिी हूॉ ? Can I carry my mobile, laptop or any other electronic devices, with me for exam?

नह ॊ, ऩय ऺा के िौयान इस प्रकाय के उऩकयण सख्ि वक्जिि हैं । No, such gadgets are strictly prohibited during Exam.

48. सीट आवॊटन ककस प्रकाय ककमा जाएगा ? How is the seating allotment done for the examination?

फामोभेदिक ऩॊजीकयण के सभम ऩॊजीकयण सॉफ्टवेमय के द्वाया उम्भीिवाय को क्रभयदहि रूऩ से टर्भिनर सॊख्मा आवॊदटि की जाएगी । प्रत्मेक उम्भीिवाय को अरग -अरग टर्भिनर दिमे जाएॉगे । The terminal number at which the candidate is to take the test would be allotted at random by registration

software at the time of Biometric Registration. Each candidate will be provided separate terminal

Candidates are required to bring their Admit Card (preferably colour printout), one Identity Card [Aadhaar Card (preferably) /Passport/ Driving License/ PAN Card/ Voter Card/ official ID etc.] failing which they

as uploaded in the application, the face clearly visible on photo, for appearing in the exam.
