The ASEAN Corporate Sustainability Summit, now on its 3rd year, is a marquee event on the calendar of sustainability professionals in the region owing to its strong positioning, progressive theming that builds from the feedback year-on-year, and most importantly the drive amongst the practitioners to exchange, enable and excel – the very purpose of our Summit! There is a perceivable development in the right direction due to the increasing awareness on sustainability among organizations, but the incremental initiatives and silo approach is taking us two steps back for every step forward since the challenges are growing at a much faster rate than the solutions. The impending ASEAN integration (one of the most anticipated developments in the region), increasing public-private partnerships, & growing corporate commitment to sustainable development are all great signs; however, opportunities for the private sector, government, civil society organizations and the academe, who build our future leaders to engage, co-create & achieve, are endless. This requires integrated thinking, a value chain approach, responsible leadership, & collaboration across all stakeholders, a push towards creating sustainable value for all. This will be our agenda: fostering sustainable value. Join us... Listen, participate and contribute positively to panel discussions, solution showcases, case studies & inspiring keynotes at the ACSSA 2015.

AEC 2015 & Inclusive GrowthTHE ASEAN integration is one of the most notable events to look forward to in the entire Asia Pacific within business, political and social circles. While touted to promote inclusive growth, economic integration and open market, the AEC has also triggered protectionism, fear and anxiety. Is the country (in specific) and the region (in general) ready? What impact does it have on business and policy? How does it affect or influence sustainability and sustainable development?
Power of PartnershipsThe concepts of shared value, partnerships (e.g., PPPs) and extended value chains have been explored at different levels across the business and public sector. However, the results and impact are still questionable. The youth, civil societies and social enterprises are changing the landscape for all. Where do they figure in the partnerships? What are the missing links to improve positive and lasting impact?

LEARNING SESSION OVERVIEW
SESSION BRIEFS
Creating Buy-in – in.out.up.downFew organizations are born with ingrained commitment to sustainability. For the majority of us, it requires transformational culture change across different levels both inside and outside. What does it take to achieve this change? How do we assure management commitment, employee involvement, drive for innovation and growth? Learn from the trials, tribulations and success stories that leaders and managers have experienced. Learning Session 1:
Efficient Resources, Sustainable Business! While sustainability encompasses the triple bottom-line in the broader context, hardcore business owners would tell you that efficient resource management is everything there is to run a long-term business. Does this mean cost reduction and continued emphasis on the same alone help in growth? What about de-coupling efficiency and growth? Learn how efficiency impacts sustainability on all fronts.Learning Session 3:
New Trends in SustainabilityThe change enterprises will go through in the next 5 years will be more than the amount of change that they had to deal with in the last 2 decades. What we learnt as a good practice yesterday is not a fool-proof approach for tomorrow. What is new in the field of sustainability? How do aspects such as technology, investor expectations, employee drive and consumer behaviour shape the trends in sustainability? Learn from the visionaries and people with data – into the future.
Learning Session 2:
Reporting for ReturnsThe inclusion of non-financial performance in organizations’ annual reports is quite evident and has been widely accepted by all stakeholder groups. But what do organizations attain through such disclosures? What purpose does sustainability report serve to the investors? is information provided in the report a requisite for investors to make firm decisions? Understand the objective non-financial disclosure bringing in trust and confidence of the stakeholders. Learning Session 4:
Collaboration - Cornerstone for Sustainable ValueToday’s challenges require not just concerted effort from all stakeholders of the society, but partnerships of purpose with leadership that drives results. Are current forms of partnerships the best solutions? Are there innovative ways for stakeholders to come together and drive significant impact? What does it take to sustain the same?
