Hydraulic Lock-OutNormally used in conjunction with air spring suspensions, the purpose of the “lock out” is to hydrostatically cushion the full extension position of shock absorber travel. This limits over-extension of the suspension, prevents top-out of the piston, and averts damage to the seal assembly.
