PARENT TEP TALK 3/19 for Lancer Families! (action items are in Yellow!) A word from the McKnight Administrative Team… @MMSLancer s Lancers Families! I want to publicly recognize Barnes and Noble for their generous donation to the McKnight Lancer Store. Friday, we received the first shipment of books and collectibles from their community resource team. We also want to recognize the amazing efforts of our 8 th Grade Orchestra students who scored top marks last week at the Sound View Orchestra Assessment as well as all the talented vocalists that participated in the joint Risdon/McKnight performance last week. Additionally, a huge shout out to the community volunteers and Sustainable Renton for helping Mr. Allard’s Garden Club to prepare our school garden located on the South side of the school. Thanks for all your support. If you have any interest in volunteering at McKnight we have lots of opportunities… Just ask. We need mentors for students, Watch DOGS to support classrooms and common areas, as well as people to support projects like the Garden Club. Email me personally, and I will sit down and talk with you to find the perfect opportunity. Please check out the two attached flyers for more opportunities to share your voice and learn how we can support you and your family.
