class. Place assignment in the appropriate tray Proceed to your assigned seat and begin
working on the bell-ringer The bell ringer will be checked and explained
after the attendance is taken The lesson for today begins after the bell-

Daily Classroom Routine
Attendance is taken when the bell rings I am tardy if I am not in my seat when the bell
rings I am absent if I am not present within the first
ten minutes of class

My cellphone/iPod etc. ,must be turned off and put away in my backpack, purse etc.
Should I decide to violate the District Policy, my cell phone will be taken and turned in to the front office.

and counts as a quiz grade The notebook must include 5 dividers The headings of the dividers are: Syllabus,
Table of Contents, Notes, Graded Assignments.

The students Mastery level shall be a major
factor in determining the grade p18 40%: classwork, homework, take home
quizzes, formula quizzes, math notebook, graded bell ringers and class participation
60%: Unit Exams, Semester Exams, Group Projects
Teachers are required to take a minimum of 10 distinct assessments and 3 major assessments per six weeks p18
DISTRICT Grading Policy
ALL LATE ASSIGNMENTS WILL BE PENALIZED
HOMEWORK IS DUE AT THE END OF THE WEEK
Assignments turned in one day late will receive a maximum grade of 70
A ZERO may be given after the second day Teachers will notify parents if a second zero occurs of any
assignment Provisions will be made to allow students to make up two
zeros in each subject per six week grading period The maximum grade for an alternate assignment may be a
70.

Semester Exam is 20% or 1/5 of the final grade
Always browse through the material for the next
lecture in advance Peruse the lecture notes and the appropriate
sections of the handouts/textbook after each lecture Should I fail to understand anything in my notes,
come to math tutorials for help Do a good job on all assignments. Re-work the
problems that seem difficult to solve Be courageous enough to ask questions in class
where I do not understand it is my responsibility to tell Coach Ford where I do not understand.
