(WWqqqq) with Common N-tuples
v1.3 first look
12/12/01 Franco Ligabue
• Tried 4fcc03 weights: high cc03 cross-section obtained• used cc03 files
• bkg: Kqq files + KZZ (or PZZ when KZZ not available)
• first look: 1999 results look strange – bug? (NN training choice may be messy)– stat. Errors OK (at least!)
• 2000 results look OK– a bit lower than before:
• MC 4f X-section higher• MC cc3 X-section lower
12/12/01 Franco Ligabue
At 207 GeV:
higher 4f X-section
12/12/01 Franco Ligabue
for 1999:
Different signal shape
check NN training actually used

Still (a lot) to do:
• Recheck everything, especially 1999• wait for right 4f X-sections/weights• 1st bin saga :
– 1) take it out for good– 2) try removing events with zero-mass jets?
• Rediscuss systematic procedures, especially for qq bkg (and apply them)
• …work…• USE PYTHIA ZZ!! (after Brigitte’s comment)
