Class accounts will not work. You can request either a single new account or multiple new accounts through BT. On the front page of the Orb, select ICT Rate Book (Learning and Teaching) in the Online directories box Select CF2038 “User Account – Multiple Users” or CF2034 “User Account – Add a New User (Active Directory)”. CF2038 allows you to create up to 240 new accounts. The data can be exported from SEEMIS using a custom report.

Individual accounts Step 1: Ensure each user who is going to access the wireless guest network has an individual account. Class accounts will not work. You can request either a single new account or multiple new accounts through BT.

• On the front page of the Orb, select ICT Rate Book (Learning and Teaching) in the Online directories box

Step 2: Add the new users to the establishment’s wireless-enabled group (School-WirelessOpenNetwork) through the Portal https://portal.ltad.ea.edin.sch.uk/ At the moment this can only be done one at a time but we are investigating ways to improve the management of users and devices on the wireless guest network.
