Staffed by our Zoning Administrator, the DRB is charged with conducting formal hearings on de-velopments in a fair and unbiased manner. At their hearings, the Board takes testimony, reviews evidence, and renders decisions in accord with our regulations. In gen-eral, the DRB meets twice a month.

RecreationCommittee

The Recreation Com-mittee is a joint commit-tee made up of Town and City of St. Albans residents who plan and implement recreation programs for the St. Al-bans community. This active group of volun-teers meets monthly at the City Hall.

Regional PlanningCommission

This Commission con-sists of 2 members from each town in the Frank-lin/Grand Isle region. It is commissioned to plan for regional projects, bylaws, town plans etc. This commission meets monthly at Northwest Regional Planning Com-mission.

TransportationAdvisory Council

Franklin/Grand Isle County TAC discusses repair issues to State and local bridges and roads as well as makes recommendations to the legislature. This council also discusses air, trail, and other transportation issues.
