Peter Zimmer is on the volunteer teaching team for Welcome to the Revolution, a new Community Group starting this month.

Why did you choose to volunteer with Community Groups?I love connecting with people who have recently made a decision to follow Jesus, and that’s what Welcome to the Revolution is all about.

Why should people consider joining? There’s nothing like being part of a group of people who are in a similar place, wanting to grow in the same areas. Plus, Community Groups create a great atmosphere for lasting relationships to form that is just not possible by coming and sitting in a dark Auditorium at a big weekend experience.

What is your favorite thing about serving?Waking up every morning, knowing there is a chance that someday, somehow, I might be featured in the weekend program!

Weekends at Crossroads

Weekends here are for anyone who wants to seek God, from those exploring whether or not God even exists to committed Christ-followers. We present basic, biblical truths and show how they apply to our everyday lives. And we have a lot of fun doing it—we don’t believe in disconnecting from the things we enjoy, the music we like or a great joke just because we’re “in church.”
