    FIRST PUBLIC HEARING: On the question of whether the following premises should be declared byResolution of Council to constitute a public nuisance and whether actionto abate the nuisance should be undertaken by the city:

    Lot #2426, P6421023000010, 2nd Ward, City of Hamilton, Butler County,

    Ohio, also known as 1115 Central Avenue (owner of record Olden T.Shepherd, 1005 Central Avenue, Hamilton, OH 45011).

    Motion - That the Public Hearing be closed.

    SECOND PUBLIC HEARING: On the question of whether the following premises should be declared byResolution of Council to constitute a public nuisance and whether actionto abate the nuisance should be undertaken by the city:

    Lot #4921, P6451004000044, 5th Ward, City of Hamilton, Butler County,Ohio, also known as 713 S Thirteenth Street (owner of record Catherine

    Johnson, 6841 Wayne Trace Rd., Somerville, OH 45064).

    Motion - That the Public Hearing be closed.

    1. REPORT received from the city manager, Mark Brandenburger, on the recommendation relativeto Collective Bargaining Agreement Amendment with IAFF Local 20. (Each member of Councilreceived a copy of the Report).

    Motion - That Council receive the report, concur in the recommendation and considereach of the items of legislation at tonights meeting.

    2. REPORT MINUTES OUTLINE- Committee of the Whole, April 28, 2010 Caucus, as submittedby the City Clerk. (Each member of Council received a copy of the Report)

    3. ORDINANCE (Third Reading): An ordinance establishing No Parking Zones and repealingcertain special places for Parking for the Handicapped, Restricted Parking Places and othertraffic regulations.

    Motion - That the ordinance be adopted and a note be made upon theminutes that a printed copy of the ordinance was furnished to each member ofcouncil prior to its third reading.

    NEW LEGISLATION

    4. RESOLUTION: A resolution finding and declaring the premises and conditions attendant to thepremises located on Lot Number 2426, situated in the Second Ward of the City of Hamilton,Ohio, constitute a public nuisance, and authorizing and directing the director of law to commencean action in the Common Pleas Court of Butler County, Ohio, to abate said nuisance. (1115Central Avenue, Owner: Olden T. Shepherd)

    Motion - That the resolution be adopted and a note be made upon theminutes that a printed copy of the resolution was furnished to each member of

    council prior to its reading.

RESOLUTION: A resolution finding and declaring the premises and conditions attendant to thepremises located on Lot Number 4921, situated in the Fifth Ward of the City of Hamilton, Ohio,constitute a public nuisance, and authorizing and directing the director of law to commence anaction in the Common Pleas Court of Butler County, Ohio, to abate said nuisance.     6. RESOLUTION: A resolution accepting grant funds from the Ohio Office of Criminal JusticeServices relative to the 2009-2010 Drug Use Prevention Program and ratifying the filing of thegrant application for same.

    Motion - That the resolution be adopted and a note be made upon theminutes that a printed copy of the resolution was furnished to each member of

    council prior to its reading.

    7. RESOLUTION: A resolution ordering the resurfacing and repair of streets and concrete wherenecessary and appropriate on various streets and avenues in the City of Hamilton, Ohio. (2010Street Resurfacing and Concrete Repair Program Assessment Roll)

    Motion - That the resolution be adopted and a note be made upon the

    minutes that a printed copy of the resolution was furnished to each member ofcouncil prior to its reading.

    8. RESOLUTION: A resolution authorizing the execution of an amendment to the collectivebargaining agreement negotiated between the City of Hamilton, Ohio, and the InternationalAssociation of Firefighters (IAFF), Local 20, relative to the position of Deputy Chief.

    Motion - That the resolution be adopted and a note be made upon the

    minutes that a printed copy of the resolution was furnished to each member ofcouncil prior to its reading.

    9. EMERGENCY ORDINANCE (Three Readings): An ordinance amending Schedule "B-1A" setforth in Emergency Ordinance No.EOR2009-10-104, adopted October 5, 2009, relative tosalaries and wages for Deputy Chiefs as members of International Association of Firefighters(IAFF), Local 20, and repealing existing Schedule "B-1A" as set forth in said emergencyordinance.

    Motion - That the rules be suspended and the emergency ordinance be read the secondtime by its title.

    Motion - That the rules be suspended, Council waive the reading of the emergencyordinance the third time in its entirety, said emergency ordinance be read thethird time by its title and placed upon its final passage, and a note be made uponthe minutes that a printed copy of the emergency ordinance was furnished toeach member of Council prior to its third reading.
