Traditional Floor ScreedThis cement:sand levelling screed is
factory-produced and correctly
proportioned for flooring and
roofing applications. It boasts
excellent cement dispersion, giving
greater and more uniform
compressive strength throughout
the floor area. It normally contains
a retarding admixture in order to
remain workable for 8-12 hours.
It can be used on a number of
different bases. This screed is
available from factories across
Great Britain.
Tufscreed FTufscreed F was developed to meet
the ever-increasing demand for
factory produced, cement:sand
levelling screeds - of all mix
proportions - that incorporate an
even dispersion of polypropylene
fibres. The fibres can help to
achieve a more cohesive material
and also help control cracking
caused by intrinsic stresses. This
improved toughness makes it ideal
for applications such as hospitals,
offices, superstores, industrial units
and other applications where floor
failure would have major cost and
disruption implications.
Truscreed and Truscreed H.D.These high performance screeds
benefit from faster drying times
allowing earlier trafficking of the
floor. They were developed by
Tarmac to meet the specific demand
for factory produced, high
performance cement:sand levelling
screeds suitable for all common
floor finishes. Easy to work with and
providing a higher strength and
abrasion resistant finish, these
screeds can be used on various
bases. Truscreed H.D. is particularly
effective on floors subject to
arduous service. Truscreed can also
be used in sound insulation, thermal
insulation and weight reduction
applications.
Our range of products.
SBR Polymer ModifiedThis factory-mixed, cement:sand
levelling screeds increased
toughness and bond properties are
the result of the inclusion of a
synthetic polymer resin. Shrinkage
and cracking is minimised,
permeability is reduced and flexural
strength is improved. This screed
can provide high performance at
thinner levels when normal
minimum thickness cannot be
achieved.
Stabilised SandAvailable in a wide range of mix
proportions, stabilised sand is ideal
for bedding and infill applications,
including protection of cables and
pipes, filling disused voids and
bedding of paving slabs. It is
particularly useful in areas prone to
saturation or flooding or where the
ground is unstable.
TruflowTruflow represents a new generation
of pumpable, self-smoothing floor
screed. It is highly versatile and
suitable for most commercial and
domestic buildings and is ideal for
use with most underfloor heating
systems. It also allows a lower
minimum thickness whilst
maintaining excellent compressive
strength. Up to 2000m2 can be laid
per day on any one project.
