It’s time for a FUnk phenomena! For over two decades Rafael Ximenez and Mikio gruschinske have each worked their way up the DJ community and electronic music industry ladder.

The duo met in 2002 at a club in Cologne, Germany where Gruschinske was a resident and Ximenez was booked as a guest. Shortly thereafter they realized their musical tastes and styles fit together and a brotherhood was born. Not long after they formed PLASTIK FUNK. The duo would go on to be known the quintessential music producers for some of dances more standout sounds; an updated version of Hip-House reinvented for the new EDM world.
