RUNNING TOGETHER: One Day Class
Join Pastor Rocky on Saturday, September 21,
from 8:30 a.m. 12:00 p.m., in the Student Center,
as he teaches Running Together, Northsides
Membership Class. If youre new to Northsideor if youre a member
who hasnt previously
attended, this class is for you! Childcare (ages 11
and under) will be provided by reservation only.
We are asking attendees to please register in
advance. Registration forms are available at the
information desk or you can register online at
www.northsidebaptist.org. Deadline to enroll is
Sunday, September 15.
Wednesday Nights
Join us for a great t ime of fellowship as we resume
our Wednesday evening meals on September 4
(5:00 6:00pm). Catered by Lizards Thicket,
the cost is $6.00 for Adults and $3.00 for children
(under 10). Please RSVP for the meal by noonon Tuesdays by

name and number attending. After the meal,
from 6:00 8:00 pm, a variety of classes will
be available for adults through our University of
Christian Training (UCT). Adult choir practice, all
preschool, children, and student activities will run
6:00 8:00 pm.

Silver Saints Singers
Northsides Senior Adult Choir, The Silver Saints
Singers, will have a sneak preview on Monday,
August 26th from 9:45-11:00am in the choir room.
Refreshments will be provided. Rehearsals will
begin on Monday, September 9th. All senior adults
55+ are encouraged and welcome to join!

Are You Ready For Some Football!
Study results show that every week 15,000 people
leave the church never to return again. Our
population is the highest its ever been, yet church
attendance is declining. However, the rate of
children being enrolled in sports is going through
the roof! At Northside we use Upward Sports
to promote the discovery of Jesus through an
environment where children learn sportsmanship,
teamwork, fundamentals, and rules of the game
while gradually increasing the level of competition.

Experience helpful but not necessary, we will
train you. Season info: Player Evaluations on
September 7th and 10th, followed by Coach and
Referee Orientation on September 17th. Practices
begin the week of September 23rd. Players
will practice one night a week with games on
Saturdays from October 5th-November 23rd.

AWANA-because kids areimportant to God
One of the most important things we can help our
kids do is hide Gods word in their hearts and learn
to apply its truths. AWANA is that type of programthat combines
basic truths, scripture memory, and
lots of fun to help shape a childs biblical world
view. Will you give of your time on Wednesday
nights from 6-8pm to help a child establish thesefoundational
truths? It doesnt take a rocket
scientist, it just takes willing hands and a servants

(2 year olds) or Cubbies (3s and 4s) or David
Ford to volunteer with Sparks (k-2nd) or Truth in

Northside Kids morning services! We want
