Students received information today on the upcoming “Woodmen of the World” Speech Contest. All students are required to write an essay, but it is optional to enter the speech phase of the contest. These essays are due Tuesday, February 16th. Look for Student Newsletters to come home this week. Everyone did a FANTASTIC job on this! Our “dirt” dessert we ate last week was oh so delicious! This correlated with our novel read in class, How to Eat Fried Worms. Continue reading in your novel, Hoot. The first half should be read by Tuesday, February 9th, along with 15 “challenging” vocabulary words defined and written in a sentence.
