HISTORY

Our school was established, under the name of

Doç.Dr.Burhan Bahriyeli,who is an Assistant Professor

at Işık University and a philanthropist , on the European

side of Istanbul University three years ago with the

approval of the Turkish Ministry of Education’s . The

construction of the school building was completed in

September 2009 , but it was inaugurated by Nimet

Çubukcu who is the former President of Turkish

Ministry of Education’s in February 2011.

Mission:

Our main aim as an institution is to educate and to

train our students as highly competitive and wise

technical employees who have sufficient technical

knowledge on demands of textile and confection

sectors, and to become the most prestigious and

desirable one among the other institutions providing

vocational and technical education.

Today, Turkey,which takes a part among the world’s leading economies supplying textile and confection, has a great deal of textile and confection manufacturing in order to meet the needs of textile and confection industry successfully and efficiently. In confection sector,the increase in manufacturing depends on the best use of skilled labor.This requirement indicates the need for skilled and trained labor in the sector.According to the needs of the sector, There is no doubt that a high-quality training which managed to complete its sectoral adaptation,is capable of manufacturing and using modern technology will be realized with the supply and the completion of hardware.
