ETELM AVL System (ET-AVLS)  AVL workstations are designed from a standard multimedia PC with Large Flat screen and graphical capabilities to support standard digital maps like satellite images, city maps.  AVL workstations are connected to the IP@node through the LAN which transmits t he GPS positions and Identities of GPS-enabled terminals managed by the authorised user of the console. ETELM AVLS is based on the industry- standard professional mapping in either an Entry Level configuration, suitable for smaller networks, or a scalable Server / Multiple Client (Max 10) configuration for larger networks. Main features available for AVL workstations are as f ollows: o Security and pro tection for accessi ng to the app lication (Login & passw ord) o Remote control o f mobile s for the con figuration of the polling periodicity o Display of terminal statu s by chan ging icons colours on the map (Swi tched off, normal, emergen cy) o Immediate localisatio n reque st from AVL use r dec ision for a dedicated terminal o Visualization of all Subscribers inside a certain perimeter o Administration and configuratio n of maps o Playback of subscriber movement The AVL workstation is able to support multi language capabil ity. The AVL workstation is supplied with the dispatcher capability in order to perform easy operation like call set up directly from the map (Individual call, group call, conference call,et c.) The equipment is designed to support normal vibrations, bumps and knocks incurring during transportatio n. The equipment does not cause any electrostatic discharges to t he environment.

  • ETELM AVL System (ET-AVLS)

AVL workstations are designed from a

standard multimedia PC with Large Flat

screen and graphical capabilities to support

standard digital maps like satellite images, city

    maps.

AVL workstations are connected to the

IP@node through the LAN which transmits the

GPS positions and Identities of GPS-enabled

terminals managed by the authorised user of

    the console.

ETELM AVLS is based on the industry-

standard professional mapping in either an

Entry Level configuration, suitable for smaller

networks, or a scalable Server / Multiple Client

(Max 10) configuration for larger networks.

Main features available for AVL workstations are as follows:

o Security and protection for accessing to the application (Login & password)

o Remote control of mobiles for the configuration of the polling periodicity

o Display of terminal status by changing icons colours on the map (Switched off, normal, emergency)

o Immediate localisation request from AVL user decision for a dedicated terminal

o Visualization of all Subscribers inside a certain perimeter

o Administration and configuration of maps

    o Playback of subscriber movement

The AVL workstation is able to support multi language capability.

The AVL workstation is supplied with the dispatcher capability in order to perform easy operation like call

set up directly from the map (Individual call, group call, conference call, etc.)

The equipment is designed to support normal vibrations, bumps and knocks incurring during transportation.

The equipment does not cause any electrostatic discharges to the environment.

  • FEATURES and SERVICES

Capability of Integration into a Dispatcher Station

Selection of vehicles for localization and tracking from the database

    vehicle

In addition to normal tracking functions listed above, the AVLS have the following

    functions:

o Quick Zoom / Pan tool for easy map navigation

    o Measure map distances

    o Identify selected objects

    o Search for map features

o Place and manage Points of Interest (POI) on the map

o Selectable level of Map detail

Capability to assign different symbols to each group of vehicles or individual

vehicles for easy graphical categorization and identification

Monitor all vehicles within an operator-selected area

Monitor all vehicles within a selected group

Monitor all vehicles with a selected mission

Raise alarms when vehicles trespass beyond authorized mission area

Adaptive refresh rate for each Subscriber or Group in 5s increment steps

    Trace path of vehicle

    Monitor vehicle history
