How to log on to Purple Mash

1. Go to www.purplemash.com

2. Click on the ‘Find my school’s login page button.

3. Search for St Chad’s Primary Academy using the postcode HD6 2PA.

4. Select our school and click go to school portal.

5. Input your log in details.

6. You will then be on the home page.

From here the children can access all the different parts of Purple Mash.

7. Any work set by teachers will appear in the ‘Alerts’ section and they will have a number appear to say how

many alerts they have. These can also be found under the 2Do’s tab.

8. Depending on what else the children want to access, they can either click on the games button or the tools

button.

The tools button will take them to a page where they can access different programs such as 2Code,

2Calculate, 2Publish. These are Purple Mash’s version of Microsoft Office so children can use them to create

spreadsheets, leaflets and stories.

The games button will allow the children to access the games where they can practice Maths and English.

9. Anytime they need to return to the homepage, they can either click the home button in the top left or at the

beginning of directory bar.

10. If The children need to access any work they have saved they can click on the Work tab at the top.

This will take them to their area where they can see all of their work.

11. Once they have completed any set work, they will need to click on the 2Do’s button at the top and then find

the correct piece of work they have done and click ‘Hand in’. This will send a notification to the teacher that

your child has completed the work and they can mark and give feedback.
