Bullet Boy These two characters are wearing normal clothes. The one on the right is wearing his school uniform, which shows us his innocence and how young he is. Whereas the other guy is wearing jeans and a plain baggy shirt which looks like I belongs to his brother. He also has a hoodie tied around his waist. The plain clothes can tell us that these guys are poor and they cannot afford designer clothes or anything like that also the fact that the guy on the right is still wearing his uniform means he doesn’t really like changing clothes or he cannot afford to buy anything better. In my trailer I will have two guys and one of them will go a different path to his friend, so they start to look different. KiDULTHOOD

Bullet Boy

These two characters are wearing normal clothes.

KiDULTHOOD

The hoodie this character is wearing shows him as someone who is unsociable who likes to behave badly and cause trouble for the people around him. The clothes he wears are just normal street wear which I will be using in my trailer. He is wearing all black to make him look dark and mysterious and almost be seen as an antagonist who is what I might need one of my characters to look like in the trailer; I will dress him in a hoodie to convey him as the

bad character in the film. I might even make him wear normal clothes at the beginning of the trailer but then switch to hoodies and dark clothes to make it look like that his character has been changed from good to bad. The clothes also have a logo; having a logo means a character cares about what other people think of them. Therefore I will have my character wearing typical Adidas or Nike clothes which are seen as the two big companies boys like this usually go shopping for.

Normal Teenager

This teenager is wearing normal clothes, these are the type of clothes I will have in my film because they are normal, real and show the audience that there is nothing really special about the character. He will blend in with the public because in social realism he must be wearing what most people can relate to, it must be casual wear, something that looks good and is easily affordable. If I made my character dress in expensive clothes then he would not be a working class character but a middle or higher class one instead.
