They will be able to analyze a given circuit depending on types of elements, DC analysis, Transient analysis and Frequency analysis. They can design circuits (at least proto type models) for a given set of specifications wither in time domain or in frequency domain. Course contents: 1. LIST OF EXPERIMENTS

1. Introduction to power supply, Multimeter, CRO, Function Generator and usage of breadboard and cables.

2. To determine the equivalent resistance for series combinations, parallel combinations and complicated connections. Delta to star and star to delta conversions using colour code and to verify it using multimeter.

3. To verify Kirchoff’s Voltage Law(KVL).

4. To verify Kirchoff’s Current Law(KCL).

5. To verify Superposition Theorem.

6. To verify Thevenin's Theorem.

7. To verify Norton’s Theorem.

8. To verify Maximum Power Transfer Theorem.

9. To study the transient response of series RC, RL, and RLC circuits to a step input.

10. To calculate the Z and ABCD parameters of a given two-port network.

11. To study frequency behavior of capacitor and inductor, phasor diagrams and their filtering properties in both leading and lagging circuits.

12. To study frequency response for series and shunt resonance of RC, RL and RLC circuits.
