DESCRIPTION:

With the rapid development of society and economy, urban population, public transport

routes and vehicles have been dramatic increasing. Public Transport as a basic transport in urban

is becoming more and more popular. How to make people travel easily? How to make transport

companies schedule effectively with limited resource, meanwhile achieves a win-win both

making public members travel conveniently and company interest grow quickly? This is a

generally problem which every bus company and public members concern about. According to

the data of people collected and past experience of the passenger traffic to make the vehicle

scheduling, obviously it cannot meet this Real-time, fast and accurate scheduling requirements.

With the mature application of GSM/GPRS technology, embedded systems technology and

network communication technology, taking advantage of GSM/GPRS real-time online

communication, average low-cost, remote transmission and network coverage wildly to transmit

passenger flow date on time, then accurately transmit to the terminal processing center.

In this project, unit of acquisition data of passenger flow used two ways to capture, such

as infrared tubes and pressure sensors. Data of passenger flow connected the master by A/D

interface. The function of the unit of GSM/GPRS transmission is receiving and transmitting on

data of passenger flow, auto communication etc.,

GSM/GPRS remote data transmission with always-on, switch freely, flexible billing

methods and high transfer rate, the passenger flow data will be collected through the GPRS

network connected to the Internet, it provides a transparent transmission channels between

collecting equipment and terminals in the remote processing centers. This achieves the passenger

flow data in a timely and accurate transmission.
