Solemnidad del Santísimo Cuerpo y Sangre de Cristo ~ 29 de Mayo, 2016
Queridos Feligreses, Junio está aquí y esto quiere decir época de graduación para muchos de nosotros. Este es un momento maravilloso para recordar de donde venimos y ver con entusiasmo hacia dónde vamos, ya sea la preparatoria, universidad o nuestro primer trabajo para comenzar nuestra carrera. Esta es una época muy ocupada, pero especial para los de 8vo grado en la Escuela de Santa María. Ellos ya han tomado sus exámenes finales, y ahora ellos se preparan para todas las festividades y celebraciones en que ellos tradicionalmente participan durante su última semana, como estudiantes de nuestra comunidad escolar. La comunidad escolar celebrará a los de 8vo grado con una misa el 3 de junio del 2016 a las 10:00am. El Evento final será la ceremonia de graduación, que ocurrirá esa misma tarde a las 2:30pm. Mi deseo para los que se gradúan en la clase del 2016, es que el amor de Dios y su guía este siempre al frente de sus vidas, ahora que entran en la siguiente fase de su desarrollo educativo y espiritual. Es obvio, que la presencia de Dios se ha hecho notar con estos estudiantes, y con su guía, ellos seguirán caminando con Jesús mientras continúan creciendo académica y espiritualmente en sus años de preparatoria. Me gustaría agradecer al Padre Robert, Padre José, Padre Vincent y al equipo de la parroquia y a la comunidad de Santa María por todo su apoyo y oraciones durante este año. Durante 145 años hemos vivido la misión de proporcionar educación católica a los niños de la parroquia de Santa María. Con el amor de Dios y su guía, esperamos con ansias seguir esta tradición en la Escuela de Santa María por muchos años más.

MinistryWe're switching it up this sum-mer! JOURNEY Middle School Ministry will not meet dur-ing their regular 2nd and 4th Wednesdays throughout the summer. Instead, students will meet on scheduled days for dif-ferent social and ministry activi-ties (who wants to go camping on a Wednesday, anyway?). Look for the calendar to be post-ed soon around the church!
