The City is presently seeking in-terested candidates to serve on the Planning Commission, Develop-ment Review Board and Downtown Board.The Planning Commis-sion is responsible for updating the Compre-hensive Plan; propos-ing and updating new land use regulations; and reviewing projects in the design review district. The Develop-ment Review Board applies the land use regulations to develop-ment proposals and hears appeals of zon-ing administrator deci-sions. The Downtown Board works with the Downtown Manager to promote the downtown, organize events, and develop strategies for economic development such as filling empty storefronts.
