Due to the electrically driven bottom, the BL series of furnaces can be easily loaded with samples. With their all round heating, these furnaces achieve outstanding temperature uniformity. The furnace chamber is separated from the heating elements due to the use of a tubular plasma ceramic retort placed vertically in the furnace. This design prevents a certain degree of contamination of both the load and heating elements. It is also recommended for gassing processes. Features include: Temperature Max 1200ºC to 1700ºC. High quality molybdenum disulfide heating elements or Kanthal A1 element spiral wound. Furnace chamber lined with first class, durable fibre materials. Outstanding temperature uniformity due to all round furnace chamber heating. Tubular ceramic retort to prevent a certain level of contamination and to improve temperature uniformity. Furnace chamber with a volume of 2 litres, up to 10 litres. Precise, electric spindle drive with push button operation. Casing is fan cooled and either painted or stainless steel. Adjustable air inlet through the floor. Exhaust air vent in the roof. Type B thermocouple (Type K on 1200ºC models.) Switchgear with SCR control. Loading platform Controller - Fitted with a 50 stage programmable digital microprocessor based PID temperature controller, controls the temperature within the range +300°C to +1200°C or +1700°C. Data logging - The controller can be supplied with RS232/RS485 communication ports which can be connected directly to a data loggers or computers to collect information. Software is available for programming and monitoring.

Elevator Furnace (+1200°C to +1700°C)

LABEC Elevator Furnaces offer a stable loading system for furnaces up to 1700ºC.

Features include:• Temperature Max 1200ºC to 1700ºC.• High quality molybdenum disulfide heating

elements or Kanthal A1 element spiral wound.• Furnace chamber lined with first class,

durable fibre materials.• Outstanding temperature uniformity

due to all round furnace chamber heating.• Tubular ceramic retort to prevent a certain

level of contamination and to improve temperature uniformity.

• Furnace chamber with a volume of 2 litres, up to 10 litres.

• Precise, electric spindle drive with push button operation.

• Casing is fan cooled and either painted or stainless steel.

• Adjustable air inlet through the floor.• Exhaust air vent in the roof.• Type B thermocouple

(Type K on 1200ºC models.)• Switchgear with SCR control.
