Augustinian Healing Ministry FATHER ALBERT MACPHERSON, O.S.A.

of the Augustinian Healing Ministry located at our Mother of Consolation Friary, Lawerence, MA, will conduct a Parish Mission with the theme of healing here at St. Rita Catholic Church.During the mission there will be an opportunity to be anointed with the blest oil ( not the sacrament of the sick). Everyone is invited to come and be anointed and pray for healing of body, mind or spirit for yourself or intercession for someone else. Jesus is the healer. He says, “Ask and you shall receive,” so we can trust that God will answer our sincere prayers either the way we ask or in a much more wonderful way. Everyone is encouraged to attend each session since the progression of the mission is prayer and supplication on Sunday; prayer and

reconciliation on Monday; prayer and healing on Tuesday and Wednesday.Religious books, rosaries and medals will be on sale at the entrance of the church during the mission.

The mission collection will be take up on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday for the support of the Augustinian Healing Ministry.

Catholic Charities Free Food Distribution will take place this coming Tuesday, December 5th from 1:00-2:00PM in the Social Hall. If you know of anyone who needs some assistance with food, please tell them of this Mission of Mercy! CHRIST the KING FEAST DAY Dinner was an awesome success…Thank You Corner Café! Thank you also to Carol Doring for the Table decorations. We had over 70 CTK Family Members who enjoyed the catering delicious-ness from The Corner Café in DeFuniak Springs…they are known for their home cooking-from-scratch meals! They are located on Highway 90…turn right (east) at the traffic light on the corner of South 331 and Highway 90. Travel to the next traffic light which is at Highway 83 North and Highway 90 East and you are there!!!

Ecumenical Christmas Choir Program at St. Rita’s Church will be next Sunday, December 10th from 2:30-4:00 PM. The Program will again be performed on Monday, December 11th from 7:00-8:30PM.
