AVIXA FLASHTRACKSAVIXA Flashtracks are bite-sized seminars where those from the public service can get quick answers to their burning AV-related questions.

A particularly useful Flashtrack session addresses public transport issues. Vice-President of the Digital Signage Multimedia Association, John Wang, will talk about “Overcoming Intermittent Data Connectivity Problems for In-train Video Entertainment”, sharing how high-quality video with real-time location information was installed on trains in Jakarta.

TECH TOURSAV Tech Tours give visitors the chance to see how Pro-AV technologies are deployed at actual installed sites. Sites identified for visit include the Prince Mahidol Hall of the Mahidol University in Bangkok, which boasts state-of-the-art acoustics and staging technology, a university equipped with advanced AV technology, the impressive showroom of the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) and the command and control centre of the Bangkok Mass Rapid Transit System.

INDUSTRY FORUMSTap the minds of AV experts with specific experiences working with public service organizations to find out more about the solutions they have delivered in using AV technologies to enhance public service processes.Included in the program for the Public Service Forum is “Trends of Operation Centers” by Ranjit Singh, CTS-D, CTS-I, Principal Consultant – Workspace Technology, PTS Consulting (Singapore) Pte Ltd. He will show how standard operation centers are making the transition to becoming smart / intelligent operation centers, via technologies such as IoT, artificial intelligence and machine learning with analytics.
