MRCOG PART-3 PREPARATORY COURSE Register Now Through Online The Structure and Technique of the Part 3 Examination Professional Counseling and Communication Skills. Breaking Bad News, Angry Patients Clinical skills and surgical techniques Prioritisation Data Interpretation Clinical Governance and Litigation in Obstetrics & Gynecology Information Leaflet Appraisal Tips to pass the exam The Do's and Dont's Twenty –Eight interactive OSCE stations & an extended OSCE circuit with clinical scenarios focusing on the five core skills domains as stipulated by the college. Course Objectives: The course will help candidates to gain familiarity with the format and structure of the part 3 MRCOG and to appreciate the standard of the required knowledge in relation to UK practice. The 2 Day intensive course will cover through the stations identical to those of the actual examination, the five clinical skills domains as related to clinical scenarios from the 14 training modules of the RCOG. The course will explain the OSCE marking system and how to secure a passing mark. As pure knowledge is not enough to pass the examination, candidates will get acquainted with the UK modus operandi in clinical practice. The candidates strengths and weaknesses will be assessed and means to improve them will be offered through an immediate feedback in respect of every case scenario. The Part 3 – OSCE course is organized by a Senior Consultant with over 20 years of experience in organizing membership courses in UK / Ireland. The course is being held in Abu Dhabi where, this year, the actual examination will take place. All 22 clinical faculty members are fellows or members of the RCOG.
