Worship to Allaah and be good to your parents!

    Allaah said in the Qur'aan:

Allaah orders us to worship Him alone and not to worship

anything else. We must NOT worship the sun, moon, trees,

    angels, prophets, graves or stones.

Allaah orders us to be good to our parents. We must be kind

and gentle towards our parents. We must talk to them using

nice words and use bad words towards them.

In the Qur'aan (Soorah 31:14), Allaah orders us to give thanks

to Him and our parents. Allaah created us, provides food for us,

protects from bad things. Our mothers bore us in weakness

and hardship. Our parents cook our food, wash our clothes

    and teach us Islaam.

To be a good Muslim we must listen to what Allaah tells us to

do and we must also listen to what our parents tell us to do.

Worship to Allaah alone and not to set up partners

    with Allaah in worship

    Allaah said in the Qur'aan:

Who has made the earth a resting place for you,and the sky as a canopy, and sent down water (rain) from the

sky and brought forth therewith fruits as a provision for you.

Then do not set up rivals unto Allaah (in worship) while you know

(that He Alone has the right to be worshipped).

    (Al-Baqarah 2:22)

Allaah does not have any helpers from the creation. He alone

gives life and death. He alone provides us with food and water.

He alone controls everything in the heavens and the earth.

Allaah orders us NOT to set up partners in His worship. These

idols that the foolish people worship are themselves created.

They cant bring about any help nor harm for their worshippers.

from the earth fruits for us to eat.

    Islamic eating morals

We say In the name of Allaah before we eat or drink.

We eat and drink with our right hand.

When we eat together, we eat of that which is on our side

    of the plate.

We should not find faults in food. If we like the food we

should eat it, otherwise we leave it.

When we finish eating, we praise Allaah Who provided us

    with the food.

    Teaching morals.

Explain to the children that Allaah

created us in our mothers womb.

We grow up as infants. Then we reach

    an age of full strength.

Then we grow old and weak. Just as we

were first weak and knowing nothing.

    ACTIVITY 3

    Allaah said in the Quraan:

[Meaning]: And We cause whom We will to remain in thewombs for an appointed term, then We bring you out asinfants, then (give you growth) that you may reach your ageof full strength. And among you there is he who dies (young),and among you there is he who is brought back to themiserable old age, so that he knows nothing after havingknown. Sooratul-Hajj (22): Ayah 5
